Had a great stay here.. close to the strip, comfortable rooms. staff go out of there way to be helpful.

Nice condo-style hotel in a quiet area
The Platinum Hotel is a condo-style hotel a half-mile from the Strip. I booked the "Solitaire Suite Strip View" on The photos on were mostly accurate. My suite, like most if not all of their suites, had a full kitchen and homey but boring decor. The suite has a furnished balcony with a view of the Strip. It's not bad for an off-Strip view of the Strip, but much of what you see in front of you is a parking lot or back lot. Some of their kitchen equipment could have been better. Other than the inside of the coffee machine, the room was clean. The Platinum Hotel has made extensive changes for the pandemic, and more than most hotels. Daily housekeeping has been suspended. There are hand sanitizer stations everywhere, etc. They've removed the cookware (available only on request). Items for dining are still present in the kitchen: utensils, plates, etc. The spa, restaurant, and lounge are closed. They have grocery delivery, although I didn't use it. I don't think they have room service. The pool is open for some reason. The ATM in the lobby charges a $5 fee per transaction, $300 maximum, $20s only. There's a dumb, semi-hidden, mandatory $28/night resort fee. It makes even less sense now since most of the resort is closed. Although The Platinum Hotel is a half-mile from the Strip, it feels like it's much further away. Quiet area with lots of homeless.

Home away from home
Great location if you're not big into being on the strip. It's not far from it though. I love that it's dog friendly and they have a mini doggy park in the back by the parking garage. Pool has nice views and I like that there's an indoor/outdoor pool that connect. I stayed at the suite and the room was big and exceeded my expectations. If you're traveling with a big family and don't want to spend a lot of money eating out, the suite has appliances. The hotel will even provide you with cookware. Overall, the room felt like a home away from home. I will definitely be coming back.

Exceeded my expectations
Probably the only place I'll stay with my family going forward and that says a lot considering I like to stay at different hotels each time I visit Vegas...

Please note to be in a room that didn’t house pets
My family and I felt as if they put us in the worst room available because we booked though a third party. It was on the 11th floor the very last room around the building, that housed dogs from the previous stay a week before we arrived. They had plenty of vacancies available from other sites that I personally checked. When I complained to the front desk she had the room deep cleaned within 2hrs but the room still reeked of dog dander because my son and I have an extreme allergy to dog hair...

Spacious but unclean. Housekeep service is bad.
The room is not clean, my friend and I check in different room, when we lay on the sofa, both of us felt itchy. Housekeeping didn’t fill up the toiletry and clean up the trash.

Perfect Suite!
This was a perfect suite for us... because there was no casino in the hotel, there was no smoke or noise... room service was perfect (ultra fast when we wanted food or a bell-hop). We were close to everything. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Overall - very disappointed
Overall - very disappointed. The hotel has great potential but our experience was bad due to few major reasons. Parking - hotel description saying free parking which is true. However, only valley parking is available which is super annoying and not efficient (take long time when few people want their car). Also, workers nudging for tips. second, cleaning of room was disaster. In one day, we come back to the room and found the toilet clogged (nobody tried to clean or open it). Last thing, every time we asked for something we felt the crew is trying to save on our back - one time we asked for additional two blankets and the service desk replied we can get only one because we have only 4 people in the room (but we had a baby and it was December and like 45 degrees..) Bottom line for the amount of money they ask you can get better..

A Great Place to Stay Off the Strip
Check in process was pleasant, check out was acceptable (staff seemed preoccupied). Valet was understaffed. Also, only one bell hop cart.
