Nice place to stay!
Pleasantly suprised!! Nice hotel for the price! Stayed here for the Independence Day celebration at Colonial Williamsburg. Convenient to nice donut shop, gas stations and attractions. We were in back so traffic noice was minimum. Very quite hotel. Nice pool although we did not use it. Ice machine was out of ice. Bed was on the hard side for us. Nice towels to use. Nice people that run the hotel. We would stay here again!

Not bad, but overpriced for what you get.
If this hotel was $70-$80/night it would have been good. We paid almost $150/night and that was just too much. The staff was pleasant. The bathroom is just too small. We only got 2 large towels even tho 3 adults checked in.

Friendly staff, not clean place to stay.
The hotel itself was very interesting. Mainly the set up, it was like being in an apartment, one that I found on Craigslist or something. Very dirty and smells bad. Mold in vents. Stunk like mildew. I was not comfortable not wearing shoes inside. Absolutely disgusting. For one night, it was ok, my son and I had a fun time anyway. If my wife was with me she wouldn’t even go inside. Walked in and it was hot and stunk bad. The people that worked there are extremely friendly and welcoming. They are the only reason I won’t give a 1 star. I just hope they can clean it because it really is a nice spot. Great potential.

Mildew! Mildew! Mildew!
We could not breathe well in this room and had to leave 5 min after arriving. The room had 2 floors, and the bedroom was in the basement, and underground. I wouldn't have booked it if i knew this. From the mildew smell, i think there was a significant moisture problem in the unit. Both my kids complained about the smell and my asthmatic son said he was having a hard time breathing. After informing Hotels.com, and the hotel that we had to leave. We requested a refund, and have not heard from either Hotels.com or the hotel. In this case i give both hotels.com and the hotel a big fat F for service. I'm very disappointed how Hotels.com has ignored us on this issue. Especially considering that i had to book a different hotel room through Hotels.com that night.
