east Hotel Hamburg

The interior design of this hotel is amazing. The breakfast/dining area is one of a kind. The room was very fancy, modern and spacious. In some areas design is in the way of functionality, for instance the sink takes some getting used to. The double sized bath tub was great. For €29 you can order a bubble bath which comes with a drink for two. If you are looking for a nice get-away in Hamburg, pick this hotel, which is only one block off of the heart of the Reeperbahn, Hamburg’s nightlife and entertainment district.

Amazing hotel, very wierd in a very good way. Friendly staff, great room and amazing drinks at the bar. Underground public parking right underneath the hotel is a plus.

The east Hotel in Hamburg is wonderful! It is on a fairly quiet, safe street within a short walk of the Reeperbahn and all the old clubs where The Beatles used to play. The rooms are quite large by European standards and all of the staff I interacted with spoke fluent English. The food and service at the hotel restaurant were also exceptional. This is the perfect hotel if you are a Beatles fan from America!

I stayed in Hamburg for a week to attend a conference. The East Hotel met my expectations, but there were a few issues during my stay. Let me start by saying the hotel is upscale and has a modern art feel. The hotel staff were nice at check-in and check-out and the rooms were large and clean. The restaurant looked nice. I did not eat there during my stay, but a colleague told me that she had a very rude waiter. The gym was a decent size and had multiple rooms with different equipment. There is a spa, but appointments were difficult to make due to a lack of spa staff. The door on my room would not shut completely without me pulling it shut for the first two nights. The door issue was fixed before I left. Overall a decent hotel located less than two blocks from the Reeperbahn street and within walking distance to many sites in Hamburg.

The East Hotel Hamburg room was very modern. The bar/restaurant area was impressive and stylish. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Regarding the breakfast - be sure to ask the price. I got a surprise at the increased price due to it being a holiday. They did not inform me of that until checkout.

Awesome hotel. Very close to all the Reeperbahn activity, but far enough away to be quiet. Rooms super hip and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
