I wasn't sure what to expect but Centara was a nice surprise. This is not a five-star resort but it is comfy and has the nicest staff. The room is not fancy but I slept well every night and it's clean. Breakfast had lots of options, all good. This is a place I would stay again.

Great stay
Came with my brother and my aunt and her friend. We loved our stay. This resort is very affordable but the property is excellent — three pools, a pool bar, and a restaurant on premise, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean, spacious, and we had a balcony overlooking the pool. Would 100% stay here again.

Large room big resort friendly staff. By request I stayed in the back for quiet so about 12 min walk to beach. Plenty of eats and music nearby. Lots of Russian guests -true of all of Karon- glad they are getting some warm water for winter. Would stay again.

As much as this resort is a beautiful hotel with a best in class atmosphere, it would be a facade if not for the outstanding staff. The staff we encountered, in particular the towel lady at the bar pool , the pool bar staff, the security staff, our room cleaning ladies and of course the very nice man at the front taxi/van entrance who always greeted us with warm friendly conversation and assistance, takes customer service to a level above expectations. We will most certainly stay here again given the chance. J wood

As a person who is blind. The staff here made my stay amazing! From the accommodations and assistance, to the three pools to choose from, water slide, breakfast buffet, gym, and being a ten minute walk from Kata beach. This place was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend for anyone from single person traveler's to whole families to come stay. Some friends stayed at a hotel on the beach and it wasn't nearly as nice as this one.

Fabulous hotel!
We have travelled to Thailand many times and stayed at many hotels, but honestly, this must rate as one of the most amazing stays ever. Although the rooms are a little dated, the facilities are beautiful, the food outstanding and the staff friendly and efficient. The hotel caters wonderfully for young children. The location is excellent with lovely restaurants close by and the beach just a short walk away.
