I stayed Mon-Fri in a basic chalet, which was all I needed on my motorbike tour of the Isle of Wight. Although the chalet was at the budget end of the scale it provided everything I needed, in particular a clean bed with fresh linen and a clean bathroom (I paid for towel hire when checking in, saving valuable packing room).My only negative aspect was that the pots & pans, dinnerware & tableware should have been cleaner than they were (one pan looked as though it had been used and then placed back in the cupboard unwashed). I would recommend Housekeeping make a better check of these items in future as it seems some guests may not clean them thoroughly before checking out. Because I always wash the items I'm going to use beforehand there was no point taking this up with Reception. All in all, for the price paid, the accommodation was excellent value, the park was quiet and well kept. The staff I met were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, if I returned to the Isle of Wight in the future.

The rooms were well stocked, everything you need (kitchen things etc) for a good stay, beds were very comfy. We stayed at the beginning of April so was pretty cold, the heating didn’t really cut it but when cooking the oven heated the room well. Some of the chalet could do with a bit of attention, bathroom a bit mouldy, bed cabinets grubby inside but to be honest I would stay again in a heartbeat 😁 Nice bit of entertainment on the evening, pool good, activities available for the kids. Front of house staff were exceptional, nothing too much trouble. We will be returning next year !!

Excellent, efficient and very friendly staff at Whitcliffe resort. The Lodge was immaculate, warm and very comfortable. It was a December stay so there wasnt any facilities open but the closeness to the beach and village coop was great. Highly recommended.

Every member of staff was lovely. Unfortunately communication wasn’t great as tried to call before and left a message via Hotels.com and no response. The chalets underlay wasn’t laid properly so it was lumpy in places. We had a great time, I stayed in December and decided to stay with my son in June as we usually stay with my friend. He loved it with the swimming and easy access to the beach.

Good holiday

Lovely campsite we had a comfort chalet but taps were really hard to turn off in bathroom, kitchen and toilet. Have reported this. Entertainment ok, site lovely and swimming pool very nice. It was quiet when we were there but I imagine once it’s packed it could be a problem with facilities. Central location fir sightseeing.
