Upon arrival of Vino Bello I was quite pleased by how beautiful the lobby was. I went to check in and they did not have my reservation and asking me for a confirmation number that I never received. Almost an hour later I had the keys to my room and we told to go over to the “concierge”

Would go again anytime
Went on a work retreat there for two days. Had a wonderful time at the spa and the restaurant. Service was excellent. I've stayed there several times. The rooms and the buildings are starting to look a bit worn (carpet needs replacing in some places, the bathtub faucet wasn't working well, etc). But overall is an excellent resort with restaurants, tasting rooms, and a deli/grocery across the street. Spa is wonderful.

Yep, timeshare
So, here's the thing: it's a timeshare now. There is no daily maid service because of this. We only stayed 3 nights and thought it was a bit *grungy* by the 3rd, we had no issues with it. They also brought more shampoo and a shaving kit when requested. Timeshare. Woo. Where to begin. I knew to expect it due to reviews on here. You go to pick up your parking pass from the concierge. The only reason for this is because he's a salesperson. He began by asking us how we booked (internet) and said they wanted to offer us a chance to get to know Wyndham better and book direct next time. He starts by telling you the passes you'll get: a very touristy "castle" winery tour and another pricey winery tour. Wineries are expensive, I get it. He says you have to come to a 90 minute presentation "about the properties" to get it. I say no. He asks why and I call out the timeshare aspect. He acquiesces. The next morning, 9am a phone call. We forgot our FREE Christmas ornament at the concierge! I say we don't celebrate Christmas and hang up. Next morning, 9am, another phone call. This time I simply pick up and hang up. Apparently you can tell them to put you on the no call list. I HIGHLY recommend this! Apart from pushy concierge, who we avoided pretty successfully, it is a GREAT property!

Overall very good experience. Needed to change rooms after first day as room only had tub and we needed a shower for accessibility. It took a while but they did every thing they can to accommodate and were able to find one after the first night

Resort was nice but overpriced. Pool are was nice. Grounds were pretty. But housekeeping services cost $25 per day.. what?? Never heard of this and I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels all over the country. Also, front desk staff were not very accommodating.

Ugh
I have stayed here many times. When my daughter got married we had 84 people in this hotel. Wow has it gone down hill. $550 for 2 nights you would think you'd get excellent service. First you check in and then they tell you to go to the concierge to pick up your parking pass. Look out! You then get hammered with a sales pitch to attend a free breakfast just for listening to their timeshare offering. Escaping the high pressure tactics is painful as you try not to be rude and escape the one sided conversation. Even though you have a parking pass there is are no available parking spaces so you have to park on the road. What inept planning organization designed this property? We returned to our room after one night and the room was not made up. Beds unmade. No towels. When I called the desk they told me I had to ask to have my room made up. How was I to know this? Then I asked for some fresh towels. No problem they said. A day later. I'm still waiting. I will not stay here again.

Great place would stay again. Couple things for the hotel to improve. No room service which is fine but provide more towels and shampoo without having to call concierge. Limit sales pitch for timeshare, to sales like. Got two phone calls and something on my door along with when you first arrive sales pitch at concierge desk.
