Room smelled really stale and was poorly maintained with marks on a number of walls. The hotel was fully booked so could not change room. Cleaning staff came by and acknowledged the issue but all they could do was give us some fresh air spray. The hotel was in a good location and the bedding and towels were clean. The staff were as helpful as they could be I guess. However the room was a sad and rather neglected space, even the corridors and stairs seemed more institutional and neglected than a central city hotel. Really disappointing stay and will not be repeated.

Very disappointed with my room. 1st impressions are vital. The communal area was ok, but as a solo traveller with a heavy bag I wasn’t directed to the main lift by reception, but down some stairs along a dark corridor and into a poky lift. I opened the door to my room to be greeted by a large stain on the carpet. There was no milk to make tea only creamer powder and I was told I could always go down three floors to use the communal milk each time I had a cup of tea. I even visited the website to check I was in the 4* hotel I had booked! Not a patch on the 4* hotel I had stayed in, in Stockholm. The room had everything it said, but the majority of the plugs didn’t work. The hair dryer was pathetic and I just gave up and left my hair to dry naturally. The room was stuffy and the window only opened a smidge. The bathroom was clean and adequate. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. The location was good. I would not stay at this hotel again. As a solo traveller, I was allocated the pokiest room. My experience certainly wasn’t 4* or that of the glossy website photos.

Det låter från tåg som kommer och går i rummet hela natten. Jag vet inte om det var specifikt på den delen jag bodde i eller om det är allmänt på hela hotellet. Hotellet var dock snyggt, rent och bekvämt i övrigt. Restaurangpersonalen var dock otrevlig då de inte fick någon dricks. De fick de inte för servicen var inget att drickas för men bra mat. Frukostrestaurangen var väldigt fullsatt klockan 08.15 en vardag men maten var god och riklig.
