The room was very comfortable and very warm and clean. Very quiet i slept like a baby 👶 . I would recommend The Maritim Hotel to anyone. I would come here to stay again.

We're all learning to cope with COVID19 regulations and I understand that hotels must change their ways. However social distancing stickers, masques in public areas and hand sanitizer dispensers are not enough. Personal service that should make the guest feel safe too - and I didn't at Maritim Hotel. I arrived late at night. Coming from the airport thru a construction site, you are guided by blue neon Maritime sign. However this entrance is locked and in the dark. An unhelpful sign says: 'use the front entrance' - with no instructions on where it is located! Finally I had to call for directions. A small map on the closed door would make all the difference! I had not eaten since 9am, as the airports and flights offer no food. There was no service at the hotel. Again, I understand that hotels have to limit services due to the crisis - but it would be nice to show consideration to international guests, who are not fully aware of the situation in Germany, and let them know in advance that late check ins can get no service/ food. Surely the hotels are aware of the conditions people are flying under at the moment? Next morning I had breakfast at the hotel, which was shock. Honestly I haven't seen blue hard boiled eggs since I was a child. More frustrating was that for 'hygiene wrapped' plates of cold cuts for bread. Plates with cheese and meat stuffed together - making it unsuitable for vegetarians, or people of Jewish or Islamic faiths. The hotel needs to work to enter this era.

Stayed here one night as my flight was arriving late in the evening. It's a short walk from the terminal. No issues with the hotel or staff. This was my third stay and will definitely stay again.

Good room size and cleanliness. Room temperature was very high and air conditioning was not functioning properly. Wifi connection unstable and very slow. Hotel information/room service was supposed to be available through the TV but the system did not work
