Amazingly comfortable mattress and pillows
The staff upon check in and throughout our stay were lovely, friendly, helpful and smiling. The rooms are large and comfortable. I had a balcony semi view to the port but unfortunately due to work and weather did not make the most of it. The mattresses and pillows were so so comfortable which is always number 1 on my list of hotels. The only slight negative I have over the hotel is in places it looks dated this feeling is enhanced by the traditional dark wood surroundings. Also ordering a taxi is a little hit and miss. The staff (all that we came across) where extremely helpful. The bar area has plenty of comfortable seating areas. All in all a lovely stay

Lovely stay at the Excelsior
As always the stay was great. The only bone of contention is that, while Maltese staff (management) in restaurant are very professional, the foreign staff ar not so much due to language barrier.

Fabulous stay
Thank you 🙏 fabulous two days in majestic Valletta . Made even more special for my husband’s birthday with a lovely bottle of Sparkling Wine & Delicious Chocolate cake. It’s the extra little touches that go a long way. The bed (and pillows)extremely comfortable. Didn’t get chance to use the spa as so much so see & do but the pool looked very tempting. A very special Thank You to Emman Carl Santiago, genuinely friendly , welcoming and helpful.
