Nice Place
Staff was super nice. And I mean all the staff. From the check in to the guy working the parking garage. Hotel is new and has excellent build materials. Mattresses are nice, counters in the kitchen are granite. The resort area has 2-3 pool. And 4 hot tubs. Pool is heated. Has a bar at the pool area. Basketball court. Tennis court. Staff at the pool Hanson put towels. Great place. At the bottom floor there is a convince to mart where you can buy a few things. But the mark up is about 100 percent. Not kidding. Candy bars are $2.40. 6 pack of beer is $15 and a regular (not latte) coffee is $4.74. The gym is really spacious for a hotel gym. And there is an activity room that has pool table, TVs, and ping pong table. Kids are required to have an adult present. A couple things that weren’t so great. 1. I though having a 1 bedroom with a kitchen was going to give us 2 bathrooms. It did not. There is a tub in the bedroom that is nice but about unusable because of the low flow faucet. Then there is a pocket door from the bedroom to the bathroom. The bathroom is nice but didn’t like having two doors that access it. 2. Location is pretty far north. If you plan to do Fremont streeet and circus circus then it’s great. It’s not a great spot to get out and walk around. Except to walk over to circus circus. If you haven’t been to Fremont Steet in awhile go check it out. It’s awesome now. Had not been for over 10 years. It’s really happening now.

Great room, awful noise & Service :(
I went to Vegas for my Birthday trip w/ my fiance'- We were NOT told @ the 25% Discount when we spent over $80 at "Waves" which is very unprofessional and actually pretty shady. If you give a Military discount then you should TELL us when you see my USAA Credit Card. Not happy about that. I specifically requested NOT to be near the elevator and they initially gave me a room right near it..they moved us to a room next to the "house keeping" storage closet where the maids were VERY loud late into the evening so I didnt get to sleep until later after a long flight, then they woke us up @8am the next am shouting about what happened the night before or whatever personal conversation they were having-very unprofessional. I had to crack the door open and say people are sleeping please be quiet, they immediately stopped the noise, but it was too late we were up. Argh! No one wants to be up early in Vegas...I was NOT aware that someone would call and harass me regarding a "time share" or I would have never bothered booking this hotel. It's very invasive and she called me numerous times. Then when I told the black gentleman @ my issues stated above all he did was say I could come back and pay $300/credit card for next time..Are you kidding me? We loved the actual "room" and the size etc. My brother works for Under Armour and had stayed there the week before so I went there for a night and decided to book it. I asked him and he said he never got called @ timeshare.Disappointing service!

Wonderful Place to Stay.
I am glad that we tried Hilton Grand Vacations. Pictures can be deceiving, but the room was exactly as shown from the pictures. The one bedroom suite that we had was very roomy, clean and updated. The bathroom was clean and had a large shower and double sink counter area. That is an important asset for three women! The water pressure could have been a little stronger - but it was definitely workable. The kitchen area was not only efficient, (dishwasher, washer & dryer was concealed behind a cabinet) but was very tastefully done. I LOVED the light fixture in the dining area. We were very comfortable and pleased. The pool area was awesome! I am not a pool person, but decided to join my daughters and wound up staying down there for hours! Great music, very relaxing and the pool had several areas that you could enter the pool from. The poolside grill had a great menu and the staff was very personable and attentive. I tried the nachos, the hamburger and buffalo wings - all of which were freshly made to order and very tasty. The drinks were pleasantly potent. We will definitely recommend the Hilton to our friends and would not hesitate to return on our next Vegas trip. A definite thumbs up for the Hilton Grand Vacations resort. The only downside is that they don't have a restaurant on premises but they do have a "mini mart" which has a variety of items (hot and cold) but it is very pricey. But it worked out as far as convenience.

Dissappointed with the experience
Our room had been smoked in. It smelled like stale smoke. The staff couldn't coordinate to address us; every time we talked to someone, they asked us who we had talked to before. When a manager came up to check us out, she said, "oh, this room smells like smoke". We said they had done the ozone cleaning but it hadn't worked. She said tell the front desk when we checked out to give us some kind of credit but the unfriendly woman at the desk said we should have called down after the ozone didn't work. I said, "Look, we contacted the front desk at least 3 times; I don't know who we talked to each different time. YOU should have followed up with US to make sure we were happy." We stayed 3 nights, and just felt the staff was more interested in booking us for a time share sale preview than in us being happy while we were there. Very disappointing. We booked 2 suites and spent quite a bit of money, and I think they should have moved us to another room when we first pointed out the smoke smell. The cleaning supervisor tried to convince us the prior tenants had just used a lot of perfume; I'm guessing they used it to try to mask the smoke smell which was probably quite old.

HGVC Strip
We stayed at HGVC Strip for 6 nights, the hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Every day the concierge would text me to check how our stay was. Our room rate included breakfast, we were given coupons for a breakfast item and a drink. The food was prepared in front of us and always tasty. The only issue was the staff all seemed to process the coupons differently. One day we would pay at pick up, others when we ordered, we were told on one day that the danish selection was just the doughnuts behind the counter and the next day were told it was the pre-packaged items in the shop. It was really frustrating and led to a lot of stress for us, on our last day we ordered coffee and doughnuts to eat while we waited on the shuttle to the airport and opened the bag to discover only 1 item in there. Maid service was good but slow. One day we came back to the hotel at 3 and our room hadn't been cleaned, we were experiencing jet lag and just wanted to relax so we just put up the do not disturb sign and went without that day. The hotel has a great pool with an over 18s area for relaxing away from the poolside. It has a small spa in the family section and two large spas in the adult section. The spas were excellent. The hotel is right at the north end of the strip and is served by the deuce bus stop right outside the door. You can take a short walk to the SLS if you want to gamble or use the monorail. Overall we really enjoyed our stay
