    Picton "What" Club??
I'm not thrilled about my choice to stay here. When we arrived we were asked to pay a bond of $100 but it wasn't explained that it would take a further week for the bond to end up back in our account. We were also sent to the completely wrong part of the hotel to find our room. When we asked if the parking was secure or monitored we were told it might be but the person serving us didn't really know. They then said that they would call our room to confirm the details of this. We never received a phone call. We called reception to request a couple of side plates so we could have a snack in our room and they said they would bring them to us but guess what they never did. The bed didn't seem to be King Sized bed just two single beds put together. There were cracks in the paint, the room was arranged strangely. The water in the taps never ran 100% cold which was annoying when you wanted a drink of water. There was only 1 hook in the bathroom to hang a towel on. It all just felt quite sparse and basic. I paid a discounted fee for this room but would definitely not pay the full room rate for this and I was quite annoyed with what I did pay for it especially for what I got and the service I received. Picton is beauitful but I would not recommend staying here and I won't be staying again.

Stopped overnight to catch ferry. Cheapest deal, but comfortable and handy to shops, cafes etc. Staff helpful and courteous.

Arrived for check in when 2 ferries had arrived. One on reception and with phones etc was poor. Two other staff walked past and said hi, which was good, nobody came to help me or the receptionist. We paid an extra $20 and had a room with good views, comfy bed, but apart from 2 cups and teaspoons, no cutlery or crockery Overall a good stay, room needs attention, but tidy and comfortable. For the price good value
