    good name but bed hotel
no wifi in the room, even in the lobby the wifi is no good. no ventilation in the room. no air conditioning.

Adequate. The pic are better than the experience.
The hotel was adequate. Carpeting was very wrinkled. The bathroom had been updated, but the room had not. The balcony connects to several other rooms, so leaving the door ajar for ventilation at night isn’t an option. The windows open widely, but they’re low enough someone could break in. The window in the bathroom didn’t open properly so very little cross-ventilation. Staff is pleasant, but property is dated. I wouldn’t stay there again. No one was at the desk at check in, nor was there a bell, so I had to wait quite a while.

    Very good 8.0
We chose to stay in a yet to be refurbished room as it was a lot cheaper but it was still nice and exceptionally clean. The only negative thing about the room was the bed which has seen better days. We have stayed here many times and the service is always so good, the staff are so friendly and kind.

Lots to say that would need considering if looking for a another stay in Picton Yacht Club Hotel. On arrival a sign greeted me saying "we'll be back in 10 minutes, take a seat and well be with you soon" Ideally I don't want to wait to check in. Yes the place is very tired but I can look past alot of this aspect as the price I fell reflects this. OK maybe now I'm picking on the bad aspects but these points all added to bring the over all feel down. The TV is a tiny square (basicly a computer monitor), no ceiling lights just wall lights, A very basic wall heater and fan, only two coffee and tea sachets in the room with only two mini plastic milks. Actual processing of the 50$ a night bond and not just a hold or held transaction, first hotel I've struck in a while that does this & mostly a over all very tired and slightly run down feel. Good points-- The view from the room, rainfall shower head, ease of carparking and price. Given all the above would I stay again? Yes but only if cheaper than other close by hotels.
