I got the impression that I was a nuisance when I booked in. The shower was dirty and the soap and shampoo shelf was at 45deg. Not suprising since it was only held by suction cups. The fridge had a half empty bottle of coke in it. The floor was dirty and a very bad stain in the carpet out the room. The room was heated by a 1969 heater that sounded like a 747. I wouldnt stay there again. It is described as a hotel but at best it would be a two star motel.

Really good stay - property was very up front about the budget rooms not being renovated and they represented excellent value. We scored a room with a view of the ferries which was quite cool. Beds were very comfy and the breakfast the next morning was good. Staff were all exceptionally pleasant to deal with. The only negative is the shower was pretty awful - functional enough to get you clean, but no water pressure.
