Holiday Inn Exp Walterboro, an IHG Hotel

Very nice. Even had some hot breakfast food. Tough to come by these days

Stay was really good until 6:30 am. Don't expect to to sleet past that time!! Elevator begins use. It IS THE NOISIEST ELEVATOR EVER. We couldn't figure what was going on that we kept hearing a loud and annoying noise every few minutes. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on the inconsideration of this hotel of it's guests. A good night's sleep is NOT to be had.

The hotel is under construction. The rooms are hot, when you go inside at first. The room doors are hard to open or stick because of the new paint around the doors. The bathroom floor wasn't cleaned well in my bathroom. There was dirty spots on the floor under the sink and sink had coffee stains on the counter.

The soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower was all empty. Upon check in there was obviously construction taking place and never told to us when making reservations. The elevator to our room was being used as the freight/construction elevator- housekeeping carts were all clustered outside the elevator entrance.

I didn’t care for the bathroom. The set up was poor.

A bit pricey to stay in a construction or remodel of hotel. . but it is what it is

Very disappointed with the stay! Always heard good things about Holiday Inn but this one was far from it. Started with a broken elevator. No body wash in the shower, microwave not working and they did not switch us to another room or provided a replacement microwave. Just wanted to heat up some soup we bought at the convenient store close by because there is no food delivery around.The front desk person, let us use her microwave in the laundry room, terrible!

When we arrived our room reservations was not what we wanted. We asked for two joint rooms so we as a family could be together on our telephone request. The evening clerk attitude was not nice and she said no because she didnt notice the request or that i paid for the two rooms under the same last name. no rooms were available next to each other so she gave us one room on the 3rd floor and one on the first floor we checked in at 8PM. Later that night i knocked on the room next to mine by mistake and no answer. The next day Saturday at 2 pm I asked again and there was an available room next to us all along. The clerk changed my sisters room and moved her next to mine thank you for the young lady on the 8 to 3 shift she was so nice. Our rooms couldn't be cleaned everyday because of the Covid-19 but clean towels and wash cloths were available.

from the moment i walked in, it stunk. the outside is very appealing and nice looking. once you walk in you can tell how old it is. it smelled like old diapers. i am sure it was the carpets. the room was very small. the shower was weak water pressure. that is the one thing hotels should concentrate on and that is the shower water pressure.
