Thank you first shift Saturday 8 to 3 pm
When we arrived our room reservations was not what we wanted. We asked for two joint rooms so we as a family could be together on our telephone request. The evening clerk attitude was not nice and she said no because she didnt notice the request or that i paid for the two rooms under the same last name. no rooms were available next to each other so she gave us one room on the 3rd floor and one on the first floor we checked in at 8PM. Later that night i knocked on the room next to mine by mistake and no answer. The next day Saturday at 2 pm I asked again and there was an available room next to us all along. The clerk changed my sisters room and moved her next to mine thank you for the young lady on the 8 to 3 shift she was so nice. Our rooms couldn't be cleaned everyday because of the Covid-19 but clean towels and wash cloths were available.

Very good
not good
from the moment i walked in, it stunk. the outside is very appealing and nice looking. once you walk in you can tell how old it is. it smelled like old diapers. i am sure it was the carpets. the room was very small. the shower was weak water pressure. that is the one thing hotels should concentrate on and that is the shower water pressure.

Great hotel right off 95
Everything was fine. I feel they are doing their best to keep everything clean. The only issue was the TV and Internet was weak and would cut out on occasion.

Over night stay
The hotel was very nice and met our needs for overnight stay during our journey to North Carolina from Florida. Only odd thing to report was the breakfast meal. New procedures were in place to deal with the corona virus threat and hotel staff served a limited breakfast menu. Upon arrival to the serving table the attendant asked if we wanted breakfast to go or stay. After answering to stay she said, “What do you want?” There was no list of items nor could you see what was in the covered warming pans so it was awkward answering. Only through trial and error with questions and answers did we finally discover the items available. My advice, add a list of items.

not very happy
We’ve stayed here before and it was nice. This time was different, the bed was hard as a rock, the Kleenex container in the room was empty and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Maybe it was because of the pandemic.

Good
Not a newly redone HI Express. Old and tired.
Would not stay again. Foul language from staff in the back office, key card didn’t work and we waited a while outside the door for the guy to fix it - eventually put us in another room but why it wasn’t done in first place no idea, grime in corners of bathroom, light fixtures missing screws, bath light missing cover. Old building and definitely shows.

Room had a damp feel and you could smell mildew. Repairs that were made were done poorly. Disappointed with this Holiday Inn.
