Our family stayed for a night over Easter. We would have liked an earlier check in. 4pm seemed a little late. The amenities were ok but 1/2 the games in the game room were out of order and the pool area was a little cool. The kids didn't seem to mind but the adults were a little turned off. A hot tub would be a great addition. The extra charge for breakfast rather than just including it in the price is a coy marketing scheme. I'd rather just have my breakfast buffet included. Staff were very nice and the room was comfortable. Some maintenance is needed for the fan in room 205. All said and done it was a reasonably nice stay. The surroundings are magnificent. I'd go back.
COUNTER STAFF A BIT SERIOUS... ENTERED OUR ROOM AT 11:15 AM WITHOUT KNOCKING! A BIT DATED
A nice location. Weather was not great for outdoor activities, so limited us a bit as not a great indoor environment. Annoying to have to pay daily use fees for pool and games room and then extra charges to play games. Found bill very confusing - so many charges and then refunds, I couldn't actually tell if I was charged the right amount in the end - I think the hotel should be more up front about it's costs!!!
very nice hotel well laid out easy to find and the view was great. the staff very friendly and helpful.One disappointment was you had to pay for breakfast. most hotels will provide the morning meal. This was a bit pricey for breakfast.
Room was overall ok but looks like they have cleaned only on visible areas. Once you lift the blanket the floor was dirty with different remains from other guests. This looked to be a pattern because I changed the room (heating was not working in one room). The pool was stated as closed but after calling hotels.com customer service the hotel said it is open. Only Jacuzzi was heated. The pool itself was not heated at all. The breakfast was bad too.
