New favorite place to stay in Vegas
After my stay in the Luxury Suites International at The Signature it’s the only place I’ll stay in Vegas from now on. I stayed for nine days including the Fourth of July. During my stay I didn’t hear or see a single drunken couple or group stumbling down the hall. Aside from hearing a door slam maybe five times during my entire stay the room was completely silent in fact I missed the first few minutes of the fireworks show on the 4th because I couldn’t hear them until I opened the door and stepped out on to the balcony. I was very impressed with the accommodations. The room and furniture were clean and comfortable. the kitchen was large including a stove with pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. The bedding was excellent the linens were clean and soft. The bed was so comfortable I would have loved to spend an entire day just laying there and enjoying the big flatscreen. Pros: The Signature is truly impressive from the gated entrance onto the property to the beautiful lobby which does not contain a casino allowing for a pleasant experience when checking in or returning from a hard day. While The Signature dose not have a casino of its own it is connected to the MGM Grand so its about a five minute walk through the interior hallways and you pop out in the food court area on the casino floor of the MGM. Con: Only one valet spot per room so if you have a guest they’ll need to self park over at MGM which is $15 a day. Parking is the only complaint I had

NEVER stay in an LSI condo at the Signature!!!
The suite was nice enough, but the couch has already seen its good days and needs replacement, considering that this is a "luxury penthouse suite." There were MAJOR problems with the way the management and servicing of the suite is arranged. MGM provides a staff to the building, but not to our suite, which is serviced by sub-contractors to the condo owners, Luxury Suites International. So there is a LOT of buck-passing. First, we arrived early and asked if we could get our room early. We were told that both of our penthouse suites were, indeed, ready and that we could move in right away, if we paid a $40 fee for each suite! Or we could wait until noon, when the fee would be only $25. The MGM staff said that they had no control over this totally unreasonable, greedy policy. They gave us the number of the condo owner's rep (off-site), but the person who could grant our request was not on duty. So we waited until 3:00 to avoid the ripoff. Then on the first day that our suite was cleaned, the crew failed to replace disposable items like soap, shampoo and facial tissues. So we phoned "housekeeping services" and were told that we must talk to the company that serves our condo's owner, but, unfortunately, their office was already closed. MGM did offer to fill in and send us some of their own supplies. In my "select one" ratings I cannot explain that our condo staff was absolutely terrible, but that the MGM staff actually served us very well, after we complained strongly.

not cheap for what it was, ok but a bit tired....
The Signature is a condominium hotel which means some individual rooms have been sold off to other owners. The room booked was provided by LSI / Luxury Suites International rather than the MGM themselves. This means that if I had any problems, I would have had to call/email them rather than just speaking to on-site staff - but thankfully I was only here for 2 nights and didn't have any issues that needed dealing with... The valet and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful upon checking in and a couple of other times I needed to speak to them. The valet's are very quick and have a great ticketing system in place - the only small problem was that I had a friend visit and there is no way for them to drive in and park on site, visitors need to park over at the MGM Grand and walk over, quite inconvenient. The wi-fi is included in the cost and was strong and fast throughout the hotel. The room itself was probably originally one of the nicest in vegas when it was built (and is still more than adequate and very comfortable and well equipped), however, after time it has just become a bit tired and tatty... Some of the carpet had threads hanging off, the couch was stained and frayed, the headboard had marks and holes in it, the shower head and floor tiles were looking a little bit mildewed and old. With the absolutely massive range of hotels available in Vegas, you really need to upkeep the rooms or customers will go elsewhere... (trump hotel for similar price)!

Very good 8.0
This resort is a great location...very walkable to the strip and tons of other entertainment options. It's really nice to have the kitchenette which included a 2-burner stove (no oven), a microwave, toaster, mini fridge (with freezer compartment), a pot, a skillet pan, coffee maker and even a blender. We were able to cook eggs and make toast for breakfast which was really nice. The balcony is nice-- no chairs or table, but fun to be able to go outside directly from your room. The bathroom was very luxurious-- with a huge tub, huge shower, separate toilet room and double sinks. The fitness room was awesome. It had lots of cardio machines, full free weights (only going up to 50 lbs), 2 benches, free-standing weight machines (including leg press, leg curl, assisted pull-up and pulleys). It was really crowded though in the morning on a Friday, so it did get congested. My only complaint was that it seems like the room saw a LOT of traffic...the carpet was pretty gross...definitely lots of stains. There was some sort of unidentified substance all over the wall by the bed which was REALLY gross...looked like it could have been vomit :( The sofa bed was in bad shape too-- definitely glad we didn't have to sleep on that and don't have kids who would have needed to sleep there. For a couple, it was a nice location, convenient with the kitchen, and clean enough for a night's stay. I much preferred the other place we stayed (Platinum Hotel) for a longer stay. It was much cleaner.

It's fine, not luxury but two steps above budget
The best: the valet parking guys were so friendly and so helpful and so nice! After a few days they knew me and it was great to come back after a long day at work and be greeted like I was coming home. And, after a few days they knew my routine and brought my car up before I even asked! Loved the secure aspect and that I didn't have to walk far to my room or thru a casino. Liked the space in the room and having a coffee pot, microwave and fridge was nice. The average: maid service was spotty. Things were done differently each day. Usually the have a check list and that clearly wasn't the case. As an example, my coffee pot was cleaned out only twice out of the 9 nights. The bad: There was a plunger by the toilet. EWWW I guess it's better than having to call them if your toilet is backed up BUT ewww The front desk people were fair, tv is old, they had a staff problem solving a problem one night but as we say it's not the problem that's so bad it's how they solve it and they did a really poor job in solving it.
