Dissapointed
I booked the Celtic manor due to the facilities however I was a dissapointed to be honest. My gym is having a refurb so have been really missing the hot tub and steam room Which is why the Celtic manor appealed. Unfortunately both were out of action! The hot tub was working on the second day which was great and the staff were really helpful but didn’t understand why max 90 mins was specified on checking in for using the pool and spa area when actually staff said u could stay longer (bit late once you have showered though). I was also dissapointed that the steak on steak and Japanese restaurant were fully booked on a Tuesday night (perphaps my fault for not booking sooner!) so I had to book restaurant at coldra court - I was not impressed to have to pay for a taxi c £20 return for 3 min drive! The gin and cocktail bar I had been looking forward to trying was not open - only open weekends. Afternoon tea was fully booked weds and no gluten free scone options or cake other than almond slice available in the forum cafe. Great hotel and staff just dissapointed it wasn’t the experience I had hoped for.

Nice hotel with lots of facilities. On the downside, parking was a ridiculous £20/night and everything had to be booked, even the pre-paid breakfast, either online or via their app (which had mostly 1 star ratings).

Nice short stay
Nice hotel in good location off highway. Whilst showing its age and maybe was a bit more luxury as years gone by it is still a lovely resort with good choice of restaurants, bars. Hotel room was lovely. Clean and nice views. Check in and out were very easy and service generally all good. Parking should be included in price which is a bit of a cheek as well as trying to get everyone to download app to book anything.
