It was amazing. Cute place to stay while in Beaufort. Didn’t have time to spend a lot time at hotel due to length of stay. They had fire pits, courtyards. It was awesome. Highly recommend

Amazing Value compared to surrounding hotels

We were amazed at the size of the room and bathroom. The room had everything we needed, coffee bar, refrigerator, soaking tub. Vouchers for breakfast at three nearby restaurants are provided. We will stay again for our next ♥ getaway!

      We will be back

This was such a CUTE and different (from what you're used to) place to stay. We arrived late at night, and the "Inn Keeper" still took the time to walk us around and show us the campus and share a little of the history of it with us. She also offered us coffee/tea/water. She then walked outside with us and personally walked us to our room. When we opened the door to our room, my breath was taken away at how cute it was. It was also very clean and comfortable. My husband and I were there for a Marine Retirement early the next morning, but have already decided that we will for sure come back when we can stay for some time on the property. The breakfast vouchers were also a nice surprise (although we didn't get to use them). We will be back.

Staff was pleasant. Tub/shower in our room was so dated that we didn't want to use it. Very low water pressure in sink. Musty, warm room that never cooled down enough for restful sleep. The porch off of our room had broken furniture and needed a good sweeping. Will try another stay in the future...maybe just got a bad room. Great location and close to everything downtown.

I absolutely loved the Beaufort Inn. This was the first time I’ve stayed in an inn and I would highly recommend this place. The staff were pleasant and the grounds and room phenomenal. The bathroom and bedroom were so spacious and comfortable and having a balcony made me feel like I was in my own private oasis. The inn was within walking distance to historic downtown Beaufort and my boys and I were able to borrow bikes from the inn to venture around town. I wish there had been an evening reception but I know Covid makes that sort of thing difficult. Hopefully I’ll return to the area and if so, I will definitely book with the lovely Beaufort Inn.

Pictures are misleading. The best parts of Beaufort Inn 1. Great job at communication leading up to arrival and room ready. 2. Location to downtown. 3. Breakfast voucher for area restaurant. This historic inn has been terribly neglected, inside and out. The exterior needs gardening, weed pulling, basic clean up and attending to. Wood rot is definitely a challenge throughout the property. The interior is beyond tired. The rooms, we had a standard, are ugly, tired, neglected AND very dirty! The only thing that appears to have been changed prior to our arrival were maybe the sheets (gross) and the towels. NOTHING was clean, there were many layers of dust, hair, and dirt on the headboard, baseboards, lamp shades, entire floor etc… The bathroom had dirt, hair, sand etc… everywhere, the walls were in a need to be wiped down, cups rings on the bathroom vanity holder, the list goes on. Fully acknowledging that staffing, country wide, is a challenge but this was not acceptable and must be mentioned for anyone considering this inn. Disappointing all around. We really wanted to give our business to a local and historic business but this may have cured our need to keep it local by sticking with a hotel chain who’s standards everyone comes to know and expect. Sorry Beaufort Inn, we really wanted to give you business but this was awful.

When we checked into our room (40) we were initially impressed. Then we found that the upper walls in the bathroom and around the air vent were covered in mold. Told management and we’re told, “Sorry - that is the only room with that issue”. No offer to come clean it or anything else. If not for this - I would have highly recommended the property but because of this - I will not.
