Exceptional 10.0
Nice hotel, very close to the vegas strip. Clean,
Is a vacation membership hotel, concierge offered a tour with freebies if we took a tour of facility, we declined and that was it, no pressure at all. Our flight got into vegas 8 hours before hotel check in. We were able to check in early, the bell hops kept our luggage for us, so we could go out and start our vacation, they said they would call us when our room was ready, and they did, much appreciated room was ready earlier than expected. Beautiful facility, fun kids pool and nice family pool. There is a small convenience store that sells Starbucks coffee, very convenient to walk down to lobby to get morning coffee to start my day while family still sleeping and getting ready. There is room service offered with a nice menu, we never used it during our stay, just because there is so much amazing food offered on the strip that we didn't want to miss out on. Hotel is in a pretty good location, easy walk to most of the casinos, cabs are very easy to get there was one out front ready when we walked out of hotel. Very close to bus access the staff was all very nice and helpful. It is a large facility but it didn't feel large. Lobby nice and clean, plenty of elevators, need to use key card to access floors in elevators, felt very safe. Our hotel suite was very nice and clean I noticed a little note under the very comfortable king size bed that said yes we even cleaned underneath the bed, very funny and it looked like they had. Had a nice balcony off bedroom, kitchen and sofa bed.

Good option if you need a kitchen in your room
I usually book hotels room in one of the major hotels during my stays in LV for work but decided to try the apartment option this time. Don't expect a grand entrance, lobby or common areas, this is not an over the top LV casino hotel, these are time share appartments. The reception/lobby was clean bright and check in was efficient and curtious no line ups no wait, no husttle and bustle. I had a 1 bedroom suite with tiny balcony with a good view of the strip. The place could comfortably accomodate 4 guests. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was large relative to the size of the apartment, living room was comfortable with 1 seater and a sofa and a dinnette area to its side, the decor isn't luxuriious more like a 3 1/2 star generic hotel. It's well centralized but I didnt like the immediate vicinity. The hotel offset to the strip behind a set of mostly vacant retail spaces, once on the strip, to the right is an open area with mostly vacant retail spaces, to the left, a small strip of cheap T shirts shops and restaurants. It's good place if you need a kitchen and/or small living room, want peace and quite while at your hotel or for extended stays. BTW.. Unlike some other posters I was not approached for a timeshare sales pitch, I did however recieve a note on my door to for a free gift at reception that I didnt follow up on.

Not What Was Promised
To start with, I experienced some bad customer experience prior to my visit. I contacted Expedia and then the hotel to ADD a day at the beginning of my pre-paid trip and it was like pulling teeth. I reached out to the hotel directly and they were complete jerks on the phone. I was on hold for over 30 minutes, to ADD a night to the trip! Eventually I gave up and spent the first night in Las Vegas at a different property. When we arrived at the hotel, the parking lot was being re-surfaced. One of the main reasons we wanted to stay here was the free parking close to the strip The hotel offered valet parking but this was a hassle all week and allowed the hotel staff to constantly hassle us. Also, the parking lot being closed made it difficult and unsafe to reach the hotel lobby from the Strip. There was security to turn away anyone who might want to reach the parking lot, but they didn't seem to care too much about personal injury! Second, the rooftop pool was closed for maintenance. The hotel offered to shuttle us to the pool at another property. Seriously? Why did you not tell us in advance Polo Towers? Third, we were woken up two different mornings with on-going construction noise. Like jack-hammers in the building at 7am. Who wants to sleep late in Vegas? There is more, but suffice to say never staying here again. Oh, the "welcome package" when you check in is a sales pitch and a magazine. Avoid at all costs!!

High pressure at the concierge desk. This property is part of Diamond something. They have several vacation destinations and you are pressured into attending a two hour meeting to listen to a high pressure sales pitch and required to tour a property. For that, you get a couple of "free nights" at one of their properties and a gift card. You are required to put up a $40 "good faith" deposit which he implied the property would not enforce if I didn't show up. I changed my mind about going and the phone calls were relentless the morning of the pitch. Finally, when I did get out of bed to answer the phone, they happily told me I lose my good faith deposit. In retrospect it was worth to keep from having my arm twisted anymore. The stay the property, aside from the arm twisting, was nice. We got the two bedroom with kitchen deal. It was like having a larger two bedroom apartment that was nicely appointed...not like Caesers Palace but nice in a slightly upscale manner. Very clean and the kitchen had all the pots and pans, silverware, dishes, glasses and appliances you'd have at home. That part of the stay is perfect for a family that needs the extra bedroom and fold-out sofa with a place to prepare meals to save money instead of the expensive restaurants. It is in a handy location on the Strip, close to the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan. I would like to here with the family again, but I am going to give a firm and repeated " NO WAY" the the sales pitch.

Great Location on the Strip
Polo Towers is conveniently located right in the middle of the Strip. I had a very helpful staff member upon check-in. However, as mentioned in other reviews, after checking in you will be quickly directed to the concierge. Expect to get a sales pitch about attending a "complimentary breakfast" to inform you about buying a timeshare. This concierge experience was the only negative part of our stay. After repeatedly stating that we were not interested in attending or listening to their sales pitch, we finally just had to walk away from the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. Polo Towers offers kitchenettes in their suites, but we didn't use ours. There's a nice rooftop pool to relax in, and daily towel/light cleaning service is provided. We had a nice non-smoking room facing the strip, the hotel was quiet, and there were many amenities close by. Check-out experience went well, other than the fact that we received another phone call from the concierge telling us to "stop by for your free gift" (yet another attempt at a sales pitch) in the morning before we left. After checking out at the main desk, the concierge continued to pester us from across the lobby with a "gift of a free stay" sales pitch. We ignored them and continued on our way. Overall, great location and a nice place to stay without a casino. Would stay here again.
