    Long stay at a great centrally located hotel.

    All the staff are so friendly and offer a really warm welcome. I stayed here for a good few weeks whilst in between houses and the warm positive attitudes never wavered. Staff regularly asked if there was anything I needed to make my stay comfortable and consequently my stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Hotel is in a great location to explore Newcastle and there are lots of nice restaurants and bars within a 5-10 minute walk. Buses/trains are also within a short walk. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. Bathroom also very clean and water pressure good. Food is of a very high standard but lunch and dinner choice is limited as they don’t have a restaurant. Breakfast is excellent, continental with bacon and sausage baps, along with assorted tea/coffee and juices. Would definitely stay again.

    Fab little stay, staff great, clean, ideal location for metfo centre and eldon square would def stay again. Car park £7 per day but free after 5pm so worked out good for parking too

    Thanks for a lovely stay at the Holiday Inn Express. My family and I had a nice comfortable experience at the hotel. The hotel were very well organised with regards to social distancing and sanitising measures. The breakfast was filling and plentiful and tables were constantly being wiped. The parking next door in the Grainger Town multi storey car park was very convenient as I was able to extend the parking using the app and the charges were very reasonable. My only comment would be the room size was a little snug as the sofa bed had been open up for my 15YO daughter. On the whole a great stay. Thanks
