Definitely not 4 star
Just simply fell short of expectations. Shower tap was broken, bathroom sink was blocked, internet connection to the TV never worked (so the hyped media box was useless) and the worst one was, there was no breakfast tea at all. Asked the waiter, who replied ''We used to have it''. It was the first hotel restaurant I had been to that had no regular tea. Asked the man that looked like a manager who said, he didn't know and would look into it, but even on day 3 no tea was to be found. The breakfast was below average, with very cheap items, no pepper on the tables, a fruit bowl with pineapple and melon with a couple of strawberries very thinly sliced on the top to make it look like it is a fruit bowl with different types of fruits. Overall this is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I certainly would not recommend it.

Gutted as wouldve been 5 star.
Wouldve been an amazing experience if it wasn't for the first two days. We booked a double room for a 5 day stay, unknown to us we were given a double with two twin beds, the bed fell apart during the night, sheets and quilts were all single, having noticed this late evening, we faced a huge que at reception so brought it to the attention of the front desk next morning. We were given another room which was smaller then the original one, wasted time repacking and unpacking which for a 5 day stay was annoying. No compensation offered, raised with management and a call to hotels.com, promised someone would deal with it, again no response to this date. The other reviews are spot on, the area is fab, surrounded by great architecture, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The main hub is a 15 min walk which we loved, Budapest is an amazing city ... but the sour taste was left after the first two days. This is something that needs addressing as when expectations are not met and it's the fault of the property, then it should be handled professionally.
