Too expensive for a mediocre hotel.
This is one of the more expensive hotels in Madinah, but for the money you get very little. The hotel itself is rather old, beds not too comfortable, and what especially caught my eye was the bad or rather the lack of light in the bathroom, where only one lightbulb was working. We booked a room for three guests, but when we arrived at the room one bed was not even prepared. When the service people prepared the third bed, we did not even get a proper bed duvet but an old blanket, which is for a hotel that is this expensive unacceptable. Furthermore, when we tried to book an additional night, the people at the reception gave us a higher rate than that online, which infuriated us. The rooms do not fully look like on the pictures and are rather old and used looking in real life. The TV had no non-arabic channels. The staff asked us multiple times to give them a perfect review, which is also unacceptable. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel by European standards, but rather around 3 stars.
