Best view room
They have provided me a room, not with only ocean view but also Positano town view. From our balcony, we can enjoy everything Positano provides. The view was too nice not to enjoy. We bought wine, prosciutto, Burrata, tomato and so on. Restaurants are in 10 seconds to place an order to pick up. Paying more ends up saving more Also afternoon, we came back with a bottle of wine to lay down on chairs at balcony.

Easily accessed from the street, and the elevator takes you DOWN to the floors with the rooms. As a result, there are magnificent views and no noise from the street. There are great restaurants right outside the door. The breakfasts were excellent, and staff very accommodating to us.

Our stay at Palazzo Talamo was amazing. We got a room with ocean view and it was so worth it, the views are breathtaking. The staff was so nice and helpful and the breakfasts in the room were lovely too. We made the mistake to climb the stairs to get to the hotel as the map showed it was the shorter path, don’t do it, just follow the road until you reach the hotel, much easier! The area is beautiful too, far enough from the super busy street but close enough to reach in less than 5 min. I would definitely recommend this place to people who don’t have a huge budget but still would like to have views from their hotel room.

Nice balcony, that’s about it.
The view is amazing but that’s about it. You pay for the location in Positano but the room itself is fine, hotel had an odd smell, and breakfast was bad. They also have cameras everywhere and I let a friend in to fix her contact that had fallen out, and they called our room telling us she couldn’t be there. Stay here if no other options.

My son tested positive for COVID the day when we supposed to check into Palazzo. I informed the administrators that I couldn’t check in not only because he was contaminated, but specially because he was burning in fever. They didn’t care and charged me the whole price of my booking even though I’ve never step my foot into the property. One administrator of the hotel called me at about 11PM, the day when I supposed to check in, and that whole day I was trying to find out how to treat my son in a foreign country, where I don’t speak the language and pretty much nobody speaks English. My son has special needs and also has epilepsy. He had three seizures in a intervale of 6 hours. When the female administrator called me I couldn’t understand her strong accent trying to speak English. I didn’t even recognize where she was calling from. At the end of that night when my son finally was able to fall sleep, I sent her an email explaining why I would not be able to check in: not only because my son had COVID, and we didn’t want to contaminated anybody, but because my son was not physically able to go to the hotel. I sent her the COVID test result. The employee was rude and said that I’d be charged full price and that they don’t have a policy to cancel booking because of COVID. She said that she sent many emails to me. I NEVER received them!!! I was charged more than €700 for a product that I never used! BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE!!!!
