don't expect any service
We stayed here on 1st Sept and are very dissapointed. There was no service no breakfast and no one to address regards issues on leaving. Very pretty room but everything else was sadly lacking.

Dommage
Idéalement situé dans une rue au calme du centre ville avec parking proche. Dommage que nous ayons dû attendre 30 minutes à la porte malgré le rendez vous et que la propreté était moyenne (peut être dû au fait que les animaux soient autorisés, merci les poils de chat blanc sur nos vêtements noirs....). Accueil pourtant sympathique.

Belle suite mais manque d'entretien, électricité vetuste, tv ne fonctionne pas, ménage sommaire. Par contre,très bien située en plein centre ville à deux pas des rues piétonnes.

Mauvaise surprise et accueil peu aimable!!!
Mise à part la salle de bain, l'état de propreté est plus que douteux. Toiles d'araignée dans tous les coins et sous les meubles, prises arrachées et oreillers qui sentent la transpiration!!! Pas de serviettes à l'arrivée. Un propriétaire qui tente d'ouvrir votre porte de chambre à 1h30 du matin et qui fait du bruit dans la chambre au dessus de la votre. Ajoutez à cela un accueil peu aimable, et ça suffit amplement pour ne pas recommander ce logement. Dommage car la situation est très bonne avec un parking gratuit à 3 minutes à pieds.

Les Pensées Douces
Pay attention, this is not an hotel!!! this is a house within the old city streets of Auxerre!!! Cedric and his mother were extremely nice and welcoming, and helped a lot though some language problems. However: 1) no parking, and you have to leave the old city streets until 08:00 AM, otherwise you'll get a police ticket. 2) No TV in room, but one in the living room (1st floor) which didn't work. 3) The room was not secured for little children (many tiny decorative objects, which can easily be broken), and there was no baby bed, so our baby daughter had to sleep on a mattress on floor. 4) Breakfast is basic, but nice and well for starting the day. Room is quiet and peacefull for a couple, and has a great location, right in the edges of old city, 5 minutes walk distance to center. Enjoy.
