Single World Explorer
The hotel is very central to everything, including to Hamburg Central Station. The place is clean. Private room, private shower, shared toilette. Staff was friendly. However, check in is a bit strict. Front Desk has to let you into the building. Then you attain keys to your room from front desk. You need to leave keys to front desk when leave the building. It's just a bit of a hassle and makes it inconvenient to have guest visits.

The room had a slightly weird smell when you walked in. The hotel is very unique and at first may seem quite odd. However, the staff is incredibly friendly and we felt safe the entire time. The room and common areas were kept very clean. Overall, would recommend this place for a cheap stay in Hamburg!

For the most part, my stay was comfortable, convienient and reasonably priced. The room was not heated and the area had drunk locals shouting really loud at around: 3:00 to 5:00 am.

I would not recommend this place at all..... It is in the worst part of the city.... A very dangours street filled with hookers and drug dealers. Also I all my years of travel I have never met a more rude lady at the deck.... Must be a owner because anyone else they would have fired her....

Street noise from the bar opposite kept us awake until 03:00. Even with windows shut. No air conditioner so we boiled. Steep stairs to Reception. No lift. Toilets shared and in corridor Don’t bother. Better available

Hamburg stay
Hotel close to main train station and underground good for exploring Hamburg and the local area. Lots of steps so may not be suitable for those with mobility problems. Comfortable and clean with a shared shower room. We found the area was quite noisy during the early hours of the morning.

Uff... also Personal ist zwar sehr freundlich aber die Unterkunft an sich... ne danke das muss nicht noch mal! Bäder sind unsauber, die Zimmer etwas abgeranzt... auf meiner Bettdecke war einfach ein Fleck der wie Blut aussah und im Mülleimer auf dem Zimmer waren bei meiner Ankunft benutzte Kutips - die auch nachdem die Reinigung am nächsten morgen da waren nicht verschwanden. Also alles in alles würde ich für einen schönen Aufenthalt lieber ein paar Euro mehr investieren. Wer absolut unempfindlich ist der wird dort wohl nächtigen können - trotz Geschrei von der Straße aus mitten in der Nacht... aber wer ein wenig Komfort und ein bisschen auch die Zeit dort genießen will und nicht nur dort sein möchte um zu schlafen dem rate ich ab.
