more of a 2 star hotel
First and foremost, the employees were very friendly and helpful. My review is based on the hotel itself not the employees. The walls are super thin, that you can hear every time someone flushes the toilet from above and next door. Throughout the night, there was a piercing sound that would come and go, I believe it was from the door but couldn't pinpoint it. The window panels didn't close so I had to put a chair against it to keep it closed. This is more of a 2 star hotel/motel, the quality is more similar to a Best Western. The place is right in-between of the Plaza Mayor and Alcazar, each about 10 minute walk. Another down side is there is no nearby cafe shops or restaurants, you have to walk to the Plaza Mayor. The rooms do not have a coffee or tea kettle.

Worse than basic
The check in didn’t start well. I was travelling with my elderly mother (74) who was not able to find her ID card at check in and the receptionist was reluctant to give her a room. I was wondering what it would have happened if she had forgotten it at home. Would she have been denied a room to sleep? We were given rooms at the level 0, next to the road and very noisy every time there was a passing car. The floor was dirty, badly mopped and with dust or food crumbs. There were spider webs in walls and door frame.

Super town, confusing hotel
Great town. Confusing hotel. Do not follow hotel desk guidance to parking!!! Ask them for the address of the garage and use your sat nav instead to save lots of trouble in the narrow streets… Also quite hard to find your way around the hotel. My Room 101 was on floor 4, for example!
