I went inside the room and nothing looked like the picture the front desk didn’t even look me in the face when he was talking to me and my wife ... I’ve never experienced such a bad service and disappointed with a hotel in any other hotel... Staff , room wasn’t clean . Thanks to hotel.com they provided me with some assistance .

Great cost-benefit hotel at city center.
Overall, very cool staff, but the recepcionists didn't wear a mask most of the time behind de counter. Breakfest was great, a lot of options incluiding several types of bread, a lot of cheese and cold cuts, sweets, lots of fruits and drinks options. They left some of the food avaliable for guests to eat during the day, which I tought was super cool. Bed wasn't very confortable, but it was big and clean. Really close to a lot of touristic spots in the city center, walking distance to everything in Lapa. Really surprising for the price I paid. :)

Not recommended to stay here
The hotelroom were dirty, with coachroaches in the room. We do not recommend this hotel for foreigners and tourists from other countries. The hotel is in centro, which is a "worn out neighbourhood" with shady people around. Be cautious of walking around in some parts of the area. Breakfast was boring and no options for vegetarians.

Cheap and terrible
A man who we assume was the manager was rude and aggressive & treated us differently from other guests. We think out of spite he stopped our room being cleaned one day. The hotel is in a very noisy area- late night clubs and bars. The rooms are uncomfortably hot. The other staff were helpful. Breakfasts were just acceptable. Rooms small. our first room had a hole in the wall. If you are not South American do not stay here.
