Happy to stay again but coming by train next time!
Liked the position, across the road from the Botanic Gardens. Was able to obtain a ticket for Jekyll and Hyde in the Gardens which was a bonus. Only difficulty was finding it.Not the hotel at fault. There are so many road works in Glasgow coupled with one way system that for a stranger to the city, negotiating the way round was a challenge.

Good location
The hotel was clean , staff friendly and lovely location next to the botanical gardens. The only issue we had was that in the morning we could not have breakfast as we had not booked the night before. Make sure you book in for breakfast if you want some. Fortunately there are lovely cafes along Byres Road which serve great breakfasts.

Instructions to check in after regular office hours were sent on the day of travel. Even if you booked in this hotel, they do not tell you clearly that your room is actually next door at Embassy apartments. I was left alone outside for a good amount of time at midnight because they sent lockbox instructions during my travel day so I did not get the message until I called Expedia. I had sent messages days prior to my arrival that I will be arriving late. No notification to expect lockbox instructions and that no one will be at the front desk. Expedia was no help either as I was asking for another hotel and they said they cannot help because there were check in instructions. This was a very traumatic experience and both this hotel and Expedia did not respond to my demand for a refund of at least the first night due to the horrible check in.

A lovely hidden gem in the West end of Glasgow, room small but very clean and comfortable. Staff very good and attentive , working hard to cater for the guests . Nice breakfast in the morning with a good choice .

We have stayed in a huge amount of European hotels, and this is by far the worst we have ever stayed in. Our other couple friends said the same. We both gave it our rooms a D. The reviews on this hotel are so wrong and it is horrible. I cannot say enough about how dirty and soiled this property is,.

Not worth it. Try somewhere else
Double room was just 2 single beds pushed together with a very defined crease between them. Hot water lasted about 2 minutes and to top it all of their was previous guests trash in the shower. The only positive notes was that the room had a unique atmosphere and good location
