Good 6.0
Property seemed like it had seen better days. Wallpaper in room was peeling in spots, outlets were few and far between and one was not properly seated in the wall, and shower, while wonderfully strong, was permanently set on "hot." On the other hand, everyone I interacted with from the hotel staff was top-notch. Plus, the hotel was convenient to everything I wanted to do while staying in KTown.

Good 6.0
Staff were pleasant and hospitable despite the language barrier (hotel is in Korea Town and some staff did not understand english). The property is very clean, however the room was outdated, 2 infant sized towels were in the bathroom, which were not enough for one adult body of average size. We had to call the front desk for more towels, the operator had a hard time understanding english and had to get help from a co-worker to translate. The thermostat was hanging by wires and it was difficult to change the room temp. There was only one outlet in-between two beds, but the room light was plugged in to one socket. 2 people could not charge their phones at the same time unless we unplugged the light. There is a nice sized small fridge, coffee maker, 1 bottle of water, coffee, soap and disposable cups in the room, which was nice. There is no TV in the room. There is no ice machine or ice bucket available. You have to go the the restraunt on site to get ice and they will only give you 1 small bag. The coffee shop does not open until 9am and they're closed Sunday's. Since I was there attending a conference and had to leave before 8am, I had to go to a Starbucks just a short walk away. Free valet parking is included.

Very good 8.0
The location of this property is right in Ktown which was very convenient and we felt safe to walk around at night. Tons of korean restaurants to choose from so that was nice! Checking in went fine, the part I did not like was when we came to valet our car (the only option), it is supposed to be free to park, but the valet told us it is free parking but it is a $3 tip. I did not appreciate being told how much to tip the valet. If I had the option, I would gladly park it myself in their garage but we had no option. Over the next couple of days, we were never told to tip again but up front, that was very unappreciated. Usually I would tip when getting my car back. Besides that, hotel was fine. A little on the old looking. An upgrade on amenities would make it look nicer. But everything was fine and clean in our room! Be careful with the sink water. In our bathroom, the water slightly to the hot side was BOILING hot! Which was very unexpected. Shower was nice and had a strong jet flowing which i liked! Check out was very quick and I had no issues.

Poor 2.0
I wish I could give it zero stars. I spent one night at this dump before deciding to check out early the next day. It is terribly outdated and smelly. There was no iron or ironing board and the bathroom was dirty. I only spent one night there but they charged me for two. Here's why. I booked the room through Travelocity. When I called Travelocity and told them that I checked out after spending one of four nights there, they contacted the hotel. The hotel manager/supervisor told the Travelocity agent that I was told to contact them by 2pm. That was a lie. I was never told to contact Travelocity by a certain time. Because I contacted Travelocity after 2pm, I was charged for an extra night. Even though I checked out at 10am. I wasn't going to leave a review because I wound up finding a much better hotel rather easily. It was the hotel manager's dishonesty along with the poor condition that the room was in that caused me to write this. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DUMP!

Poor 2.0
On the outside this hotel looks great. The inside is another story. It was so run down, and everything was falling apart. The thermostat in our room was hanging out of the wall by its wires. When you put on the AC it blew out hot air & our room got up to 80 degrees. The towels where so small they looked like towels for a child. The coffee shop didn't open until 8am, long after were done. There was no ice machines so we had to get it from the restaurant (which wasn't opened either) & carry back in a bag because there are no ice buckets. We had a hard time communicating with the staff because everyone spoke Korean, to be fair we were in Koreatown because there was no other hotels available even close to the convention center. The ONLY thing i can say that was good it that the staff was very nice. Unfortunately that's the only good thing i can say about this hotel.
