Nothing to do near by, only a limited amount of parking and a small bar menu

The Setting: Double room on the second floor (one flight of stairs up) in the building with the open garage beneath. The Good: Room was very large and there was plenty of parking on the premises. Bathroom also had plenty of space, was clean, and the shower fit one person well. Gummy bears on the pillows were also a nice, welcoming touch. Bed was comfortable as well; however, didn't sleep well on the first night (out of two) due to reasons detailed below. The Meh: Area on the ceiling between the window and the curtains was dusty and had spiderwebs; definitely a neglected part of cleaning. At night, was woken up several times despite being a relatively deep sleeper due to ticking/clicking sounds in the room from (what I believe were) the lights behind the headboard, the walls, and also the window. Would not recommend this place for light sleepers, but would be fine after a long, tiring day.

Very clean, modern hotel with an elevator and semi close to downtown. I am pregnant and chose this hotel because it listed air conditioning, come to find out it is not individually controlled. So on our second day we requested our room temperature be decreased to 16, but upon returning it was still 22, our room felt cooler, but we were disappointed we couldn’t control it as I overheat due to be pregnant. The website claimed free parking, when we arrived there were parking spaces that matched omthe toom numbers, however both nights someone was parked in our spot so we had to drive the neighborhood to find street parking. The room had nice features including; mini fridge, blackout shades, seating, desk, desk lights, and was spacious. The bathroom was well designed and the high ceilings made the room feel large. It’s a 5 km walk into downtown Köln and the hotel is located in a warehouse/ apartment area. There is a grocery store located a couple of blocks away, but we were only able to located one restrauant within walking distance.

The hotel itself was excellent, a little far from the cathedral on a walking distance, but really close and easy to reach by taxi. Parking was very easy and the hotel was clean and very comfortable.

Generally very good however, bed was uncomfortable and lots of noise from neighbouring rooms. Service from the staff was excellent.
