Used to be nice, now it’s no longer a choice
I’ve stayed at this hotel the 3 trips and was very happy with everything for the price bracket. However, this last trip has made this hotel fall off my list of favorites. I booked 3 rooms (2 nights) a week in advance....1 room was the 1st room off the elevator, the 2nd room smelled so bad of marijuana they brought an oxidizer in for a few hours and it didn’t work! That room ended up getting comped 1 night and out in different room the 2nd night. After all that I speed for an hour later on check out the clerk was abrupt and said I needed to be a member of Holiday Inn club to get 30 mins. I have hardly ever been denied an extra hour unless it was a busy time. For all the inconvenience I had after paying for 3 rooms and only wanted a late check out on 1 room and couldn’t get it I was disappointed. Also it appeared the elevator had never been vacuumed entire time.

What do you mean it’s a walk up
You know you’re in trouble when the first thing the girl at the front desk says to you is the elevators out and you’re going to have to walk up five flights of stairs. After that at four in the morning I woke up with the heat stuck in the on position and the room at 80°. I had to unplug it to get it to stop. Shower forget a shower there was no water in the morning.

The room was perfect for my family. My only issue was the children on the floor above us. They were running around the room at 5am that definitely made it hard to sleep. That however was not the hotels fault.

It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Nice large flat screen TV. The bathroom and shower was super nice too. The free breakfast was handled in a very covid safe manner and having the drop box for leaving the room key cards was a great idea to save time checking out.

Very polite, helpful staff. Pool was closed due to Covid. They did serve breakfast in an order form and pick up fashion. Which is a lot of work for the employees. Much appreciated. I've been to hotels recently where breakfast was just cancelled.
