Swiss Diamond Hotel located in Vico Morcote, provided exceptional services during my stay . I would give a rating of six stars because the staff goes above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of their guests. The level of professionalism and kindness from all staff members goes beyond the average service seen at many top rated hotels. The staff genuinely cares for the guests and are not fixated on money. I was personally attended to by the hotel manager Adnan, who provided room service at no charge, after an episode of regurgitation the night before, which left me weak the following morning. Sabrina at the front desk and Armondo in food services, are two of the most amazing people I have ever met. In a world where good customer service has increasingly decreased, it is important to recognize, give credit and sustain good workers. Sabrina is very kind, patient and caring. Sabrina assisted in planning my excursions and went the extra Mile to ensure my safety and comfort while traveling. Armondo in food services always greets you with a warm smile and provides exceptional service on every level. Even though all staff members are kind and caring, the hotel would not be the same without Sabrina and Armondo. Service is prompt and the hotel is beautiful and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again!!

This Hotel was fantastic! 1. The staff were very respectful. 2. The room and the view was wonderful. 3. The pool and the resort area was like a dream. 4. The breakfast room was great. 5. The food and service at the Lago restaurant was fantastic as well. 5. Lugano itself was a nice small but very modern city. 6. You can’t really go wrong when you mix Italian & Swiss. Will definitely go back.

Comfortable for 3-4 day visit. Fantastic views from room, breakfast area and poolside. Never got tired of that view. Would have liked the courtesy car to operate later- last pickup from Lugano City Centre was 9:30pm.

I waited a few days to review this, but in the end when Expedia nor the hotel did anything it’s time to talk. I booked 4 rooms for a vacation with parents, 2 siblings, and kids, parents tested positive to Covid upon arrival and I proved the tests to hotel and Expedia from a verified lab , we occupied only 2 rooms and ended up with one! Due to no connected rooms available connected or on the safe floor. however no one cared and I was charged over 2400 euros for 2 rooms out of 4 due to no show! Tried my best and receptionist Antonella promised to try her best with no promises and Expedia still said apologies hotel refused any kind of refund! As a family we took safety in this fake 5 star hotel and kept parents away for public safety and hotel and Expedia could care less!! First night I asked for insect repellent cause I had a bee and insects on every corner in the suite, plus room service after 10-11pm is only hand made dry meats and cheese! A 5 star should be 24/7 room service! Horrible experience, horrible hotel and management. Besides staff/employees being super nice and should work in a true 5 star hotel, this property shouldn’t even be a four star one! friendliest staff in a horrible hotel management and staff. I hope my word goes out to everyone. I hope hotel updates room, property, and location before posting photos, and I hope Expedia review more and more situations. After this summer I’m done with this website. Blaming on others is such an easy thing.
