With few changes it could be a great hotel
It is a beautiful old renovated building at a great location and with lots of history. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it, the walls are thin and there is a lot of noise. The service was ok, (not great), dinner at the hotel was mediocre and breakfast served with lots of supermarket sweets and prepackaged juices, beside the fruit salad there were no healthy options. All in all it was a nice energy inside the hotel.

Excellent location. Is near everything you need. Have been a returning customer for many years. Staff is great and always ready to help. It is an icon in Rosario. The included breakfast is excellent with the incredible medialunas de grasa. Did not like to see how it is deteriorating through the years. It seems that there is very little building maintenance after the nice remodeling so many years ago. One of the elevators has been broken since october 2018. Today, april 2, 2019 it is still not working. Some of the bathrooms have seen better years.

Our stay
- didn’t have cold beers in the restaurant so purchased one and placed in an ice bucket - food was good even though we arrived late - restaurant service was excellent! - doorman was outstanding!!! - check out next morning was not great. My NZ Visa card worked only on the fourth and oldest EFTPoS machine. The young man at the counter kept scratching his crutch. I paid for both our rooms which thoroughly confused him.So finally after paying for two rooms he still thought my guest should pay. So I had to explain yet again I paid for 314 & 212 so te person in 212 didn’t have to pay anything!!! Not the sharpest tool in the shed - Wifi signal was weak (access points need to emit stronger signal)
