Fair stay but should have been better.
Unit was old and not cleaned as well as I would expect. We arrived just before 2pm with no one at reception and unable to get in to the complex. Alsi the unit we were in, 1J was so hot as it was facing north and west, the curtains thin and only air conditioning in the living area which didn't cool the whole area effectively.

Located on Marine Parade, the Atrium is in a great location. Harbour Town is close by, as are all the Theme Parks and beaches. The resort has affordable apartments with water views. It has great amenities- two pools, a tennis court and more. The grounds, the water and plant filled Atrium are a relaxing delight. A repeat stay is mandatory.

Old, Overpriced and deceptive marketing
The place is dated. Three different devices to get to room. Needed to insert key into slot for power, so when out all day the room was very hot on return. Room not serviced at all during our stay - was told that this was specified on website but not on hotel.com. Free wifi was limited to 250mb per day then charged. Dryer did not work and response was "it's a weekend so someone will look at it on Monday".

A 2 star hotel at 4 star prices. The room was not well maintained and was not thoroughly clean it was infested with bed bugs. There was no air conditioning in the main bedroom. We had to sleep in the second room, where we were bitten by bugs.

Bring cleaning supplies
First up, the location is great and is what will make people keep booking this place. After hours check-in works fine. The receptionist was very helpful when I called in advance. The atrium is pretty. But the unit itself was tired, scuffed, dirty. Bathrooms I cleaned myself on arrival! Filthy floors. Hair everywhere. Plates, cups and glasses were all dirty. I am sure post-covid it is hard to find good staff, but the cleaner of my unit hadn't done some of the basic stuff. I suspect I left it cleaner than I found it. I think it is priced wrongly. For the nightly rate, it needs some small touches...like extra loo roll, soap in bathroom, a box of tissues even. Even though I paid a Christmas premium, as to be expected, I think this was not good value for money. I would personally sacrifice the location in future and get somewhere better quality. And clean.
