Go there and experience it! Very nice that there was unlimited access to the spa during opening hours, unfortunately there is no shared sauna. It also seems to be a popular destination for bachelor/bachelorette parties on weekends so take this into consideration if you are there for a silent couples retreat. There is no mosquito net in the room so beware of mosquitoes if you open the window.

We love this hotel so much. We wanted to stay longer. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Our room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the spa. The sauna, indoor pool and hot tubs were fabulous. They are beautifully designed in a modern way that stays in harmony with the old world feeling of the hotel. The restaurant is absolutely delicious. We live in New Orleans, LA : a city known for its good food, so when we travel the food bar is set high. My husband is gluten free and dairy free and the staff constantly checked with the kitchen to make sure he could safely eat everything. It was consistently delicious. Tallberg is breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. I can’t wait to visit again and stay longer.

Beautiful setting, good food and lovely staff but the room was in desperate need of a refurbishment - the tiny shower with a slinky curtain and a cage bin attached to the wall made it feel like Falu hospital rather than a hotel! Our stay was fine but crazy overpriced.

Det enda vi ville påpeka var att vi inte kunde få vatten till duschen. Vattnet rann ner fint badkaret men vi kunde inte få till en dusch. Nu gick jag ner till Spa:et. Vi vi checkade ut så påpekade jag försynt i receptionen att duschen i rum/svit 62 inte fungerade. Vi fick till svar att den kunde vara ”trög”. Duschen funkade inte och tyvärr tror jag inte den kommer fungera för nästa gäst heller. Vi åker till Åkerblads för att det är bäst i Tällberg, dyrast, bäst mat. Tråkigt att man inte vill ta emot en enkel felanmälan. Nästa gång skall jag funktionstesta allt innan vi tar rummet. Vi kommer fortsätta åka till Tällberg.
