Computer system down on arrival was just told, until it was up and running no check in allowed … could be 10 mins could be hours Room was spot on Breakfast a complete shambles 2 coffee machines both out of service lots of people waiting around for bread, milk, hot food etc all to be topped up 4 staff totally unorganised some of the quality of food very poor … and just warm

Absolutely wonderful
The hotel is well presented and beautifully kept. The staff from the second we arrived were incredible. They couldn’t have been more helpful, happy and welcoming. They went out of their way constantly to ensure our stay was perfect! And kudos to them for putting up with the absolute nightmares we witness from other guest - truly awful attitudes towards fantastic staff! When we left we gifted the girls chocolates and flowers to thank them for them impeccable work! Will be returning if and when we return to Liverpool!

Poor service- Broken Sofa bed/No breakfast
I love Hilton but this one was by far the worst. Glad that Luke (employee) refunded part of my money but I wont try it again. They were short of staff and basically everything was a nightmare. Breakfast gone- Rooms- almost sold out Sofa bed- broken

The Hampton by Hilton is a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The hotel could use some updates, but it's a good value and the added benefit of a decent breakfast makes it a find!

The Eagles Spoilt my Holiday
So, The Eagles are playing Anfield and my hotel price doubles! That’s not supply and demand, that is called profiteering! However I now have to base my review on a room that cost £165 per night. The sound proofing was good, as was the air con and it was clean but there the positives end. Advertised as an Albert Dock view, it did face in that direction but the building opposite put an end to that! There are no black out blinds and the voile curtains stop no external light at all. The glass bathroom door is more style than substance. Parking was excellent but that is provided by an external company and paid for separately. Breakfast was just appalling on every level, from the quality of the ingredients, to the cooking and in particular the organisation and the systems in place. There was no vegetarian option available. We felt extremely sorry for the staff who were being asked to work under intolerable pressure. Dealing with multiple complaints, they were in no position to provide any kind of service. I was told that there was no chef and that the waiting staff also had to do the cooking. This is not acceptable, particularly from a food hygiene perspective. I also witnessed staff being asked to unlock fire doors on a number of occasions. Would I stay here again? Well I am assuming that when the Eagles are not in town the price of the room will halve. So, at £160, definitely not. At £40, maybe!
