(Too) close to the night life
The location is good as far as proximity to shops, the Metro and restaurants is concerned. But it is very noisy at night time - right into the early hours of the morning. After being kept awake until 4AM on a Monday night we decided to go elsewhere. The staff were sympathetic and helpful and arranged for us to change rooms between nights 1 and 2 but there was little difference. If you want a peaceful stay this probably isn't for you.

Not to pick Room #511 or the same design room
This is my second time to stay at this hotel. Location is perfect to enjoy Tokyo. The hotel is in the middle of the shopping and dining area in Akasaka. Easy to access to the multiple subway lines. The bus is available from/to the airport from the near-by hotels. I like this hotel because the room is equipped with washer/dryer, small kitchen. A microwave is not in each room but is available in the vending machine area on a couple of floors. The problem I had this time was airconditioning. Because of the room layout, the wind from the air conditioner directly blowing down toward the bed. There was no way to find the setting comfortable for me. The room was 511. So, you may want to ask the hotel to avoid from booking the same design room as 511.

Fun stay in Akasaka
Great location and super helpful and friendly staff. Room was a little worn but comfortable. The bathroom in our room was very small but everything worked! Great budget hotel with super easy access to a ton of great restaurants and bars.

Wonderful neighborhood, great hotel.
Akasaka is a wonderful neighborhood in Tokyo and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had stayed at a different Centurion hotel in the same neighborhood earlier in our trip, and found our room at the Residential to be substantially more welcoming. We would recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Location of hotel is very convenient, close to the metro, and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff is very friendly. The room we were in was a little small for 2 ppl and luggage

Could have been so much better...
Great location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room size is OK for Tokyo but the layout isn't optimal and hasn't been thought out very well ... surprise, surprise, travellers have luggage ... not much room for a suitcase; lack of plug sockets; nowhere to hang things or put your toiletries in the bathroom; no bedside table for your phone or specs etc. all when considering this hotel has been very recently refurbished. A bit more thought could have made the rooms far more user-friendly. Extra notes: Housekeeping comes very late. Breakfast is truly awful.
