The good, the bad and the ugly.....
The bad: I was on the 4th floor and the elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor. So you have to go up the elevator, down a long hallway, up a flight of stairs, through a doorway and down another hallway to get to my room. All the way, lugging two suitcases and a heavy backpack. The bed was like a rock and the room was soooooooo hot. I asked if there was a room with a softer bed on a lower floor because I'm not a spring chicken and lugging my luggage up the stairs was a chore but was told there was nothing to move me to. The AC couldn't seem to cool the room down and I tried to take a cool shower but the temperature of the shower went from too hot... to too cold!!! The good: Actually had a nice view. It is very close to the airport. You can walk to the airport from the motel. Be careful coming down the hill no lane for you to walk in but once you get down to the main road there is a sidewalk and you can get over to the airport fairly easy. For one night, an inexpensive place to stay..... it's okay, not great.

This was a great place to stay after the 2am arrival of our flight. So close and convenient! Even at that time there was someone at the desk ready for us to check in.

Our expensive stay
We choose this hotel because the description said it was close to the airport. It did not include you needed to go down steps and a steep (almost vertical) alleyway and cross the major highway to get there. We did it once without our suitcases and realized it would be impossible to do it at night with them. We were shocked when the 1 minute taxi ride to the airport cost more than the 15 minute ride from the harbor to the airport. Also the price quoted by the receptionist for the taxi was less than the price charged. Not a good experience at all.
