Fantastic! What an adorable place in Shamrock! The elbow grease and $$ to put into this place must have been a LOT to make this transformation. And for the price-unbeatable. As far as the bonus benefits, we declined them. No need. Thanks to the super pleasant woman at the front desk for the welcome. And perk: breakfast delivered to your room. 7:30am!

They have done a great job refurbishing this place. I worked there when it was a 5 star Best Western, 30 years ago so I had high expectations and it is the cleanest room I've been in in years. It's very nice! Clean, comfortable, quiet. Yes, they're still working on the property, but have accomplished a lot since it was empty for years. Since they turned them into kitchenettes, there's not a bathroom vanity. Different, but doable. Kind of like a tiny home set up. Take a sleep mask if you're sensitive to light from outside. The light switch controls the outlet by the window. The lamps change colors. A full refrigerator and dishes. Rachael is great!!!

Don’t over look this cute little renovated hotel! The outside doesn’t tell stories like the inside. Our very quiet very private dog-friendly room was the perfect rest stop for our road trip. Very comfortable and very clean with parking right outside your door making unloading and loading seamless. Our morning included breakfast showed up right on schedule. The lovely lady in charge was a delight. My only feedback would be to please put attention into a relief area for dogs that is free of stickers. We love that you are dog-friendly! But we only found one place (a small park on main street 5 minutes down the road) that didn’t have stickers in the grass. Nearly every inch of grass around the property, and most of the town, had thick stickers. Other than that, we loved our stay.

The beds are very comfortable, the room is quiet and very clean, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good, with a nice selection, but hot items should be served hot, like the coffee or the burritos. They're delicious, but a little cold, as was the bagel, but overall, it's definitely a good option if you're passing through Shamrok. We'll definitely stay there again. ;)

We arrived at 3:45 PM (time changed during road travel). I was informed that they "didn't open until 4 PM." (At a hotel?) I booked online with Expedia asking for a pet-friendly room. This seemed to be an issue for the hostess, even though there were no guests at the hotel. $56.10 later, we got our room. Spacious, comfortable. The sink in the kitchenette was also the bathroom sink, which I didn't like. But the room was clean and we liked that we could watch Netflix on their TV. We were given 2 free frozen chicken potpies for dinner, and breakfast was delivered to our room, which was a pleasant surprise! Most places have a common room for breakfast, but this one took your order the night before. The location was a SECOND off of Interstate 40, so it was so easy to find. I would stay here again.

Highly Recommend!

We were blown away by the warmth and hospitality of the Irish Inn. From the outside it looks like an average roadside hotel/motel, but on the inside it’s anything but. The rooms were beautiful: large, pristine and newly renovated. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was brought to our room in the morning at the time of our choosing. Best of all was the incredibly warm and sincere hospitality we received from the inn’s manager, Rachel. If more people ran their businesses like this outstanding independently-owned inn, the world would be a better place.
