Customer service was beyond amazing. They responded immediately. We stayed the first night of the winter storm, January 2026. They were very accommodating with early check in/out due to weather. The room was clean, super cute and within 5 minutes of our event. We were traveling with our dog, and the room came with pet bowls. I wish we would have been able to enjoy the court yard. I would highly recommend this place and will stay again.

This place is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay completely. Very well decorated and clias a whistle. And very well equipped. The keyless entry in and no front desk check in was very convenient. The piped in music was a nice touch. My one and only setback was the shower was extremely slippery. We went and picked up a bath mat and solved the problem. We'll visit again for sure.

Talbot Commons is a very charming enclave located in a quiet area within walking distance of Taylor’s shopping district. Each of the rooms are decorated with a trendy western theme. All the rooms are on ground level arranged around a common area, so it could be ideal for a wedding, group, or small family reunion. For me it was an ideal stopover on a trip across Texas. There is no staff on site, so that should be taken into consideration. I didn’t know how to rate “staff and service” because the hotel is not set up that way. I had absolutely no complaints: my room had everything I needed. A nice, trendy cafe is adjacent to the hotel.

Overall, the area was perfect. The shops I wanted to see were so close that we walked. The small community parks were so close that I really enjoyed the walking trails. The hotel was so cute and cozy. The AC worked beautifully, and I melted into the bed and slept so well. This is one place I would come back to stay. Most of all, the coffee place right next door was great. The fridge was a good size, and the coffee maker worked well. (Thank you for having decaf coffee on hand).
