Dated room with mold stain
Much more dated compared to the photos from the site. Our room had a large 2 foot long mold stain on the ceiling. The pullout sofa was old and uncomfortable. King size bed was comfortable, however the sheets had hair on them. The mini fridge was loud. Front desk was friendly. Would not stay there again.

We were at the Valley Inn for a family wedding in Sept. Outstanding local scenery, too. The room was great - a bit outdated, but well appointed and VERY comfortable. Best hotel bed and sheets (maybe ever!), clean spaces including the bathroom, nice towels and happy to have extra toiletries under the sink. The bathroom was a bit small, but, it is an older hotel. It would be good to have a full length mirror available, too. With covid restrictions, the dining room was closed. It would have been good to know this before arriving as we would have brought some food to cook/microwave in the kitchenette. We did fill out a breakfast form and received boxed food - fruit cup, juice, cereal, milk. Coffee available in the room. Overall a great night in NH and we would definitely stay at the Valley Inn again!

Beautiful location..very close to Welch and Dickey
Part of Waterville valey resort so you have to pay nominal resort fee that gets you free access to bikes (and bike trails), lift chair to upper snow mountain, golf, pool, canoe/kayaking, clay tennis courts and a few other perks. Worth it.

Very spacious
The room was very nice and spacious and beds very comfortable. We were given tickets to the ski lift ride up the mointain but had asked how to get there and were given bad directions so we got lost and couldn't use them we were looking forward to going up. We went on the website finding that they were closed. We could have ised them the following day but had to head back home. The whirlpool tub in our room didn't work either. Overall we gave it a 4 out of 5. .

The place was great! Unfortunately, the pool was out of order. Fortunately, it was fairly cool while we were there. The staff was friendly. The room was big and clean. This was our second time staying there. We will be back again soon. We love the area!

Front desk people are nice, the place is very outdated. Old dirty carpets in the room and hallway. The Bed is not comfortable bedsheets smelled. We can hear all the steps from the above level .
