Service was exellent, condition and cleanlines are good, as expected. I would go again.

Nice location, no alive-service
The hotel itself was nice but for getting service (as the shower wasn't first working as the code to the door didn't work the whole staying time and as I wanted to keep the same room for the whole staying) was difficult and expensive. The only way to get a contact to service was to call expensive international calls. The only service alive were the cleaner people and they were very nice but they really didn't have rights to do anything besides giving that phone number. The hotel wifi didn't work very well in my room, only at the lobby.

Hotel with a good location but no service
It was hard to contact the staff as the only way was by phone. Another one of us was leaving very early and there was no way to have the breakfast earlier like in other Reykjavik hotels very often is. The location was nice but there should be a easier way to contact on staff when needed. I felt unsecure when contacting only by phone-service and number codes. The hotel wifi worked in another room with the upper levels didn't. The breakfast was very poor, no vegetables at all.

Disappointing check-in procedure
Location was excellent. The hotel was clean. The two problems were the check-in and space for eating breakfast. I stood in the hall and ate my cereal. Only went to breakfast one of the two days there. The space is just too small but food was good and area clean. Check in was a problem for several people. Out of the 4 groups I saw, 3 of us had check in problems. I got there around 5pm and nobody was around. Another guest came and opened the door for me with his code. The next day I did the same for another new guest. Then my name was not on the counter where other guest names were. I was able to call a number and was given my room number and passcodes. Without that other guest I would not have been able to even get into the hotel. My USA phone did not work nor internet. The hotel should not rely on guests always having that access.

First stop on our Iceland trip
Cute typical Icelandic property. Steep stairs to get to the door and down to the breakfast area and our room. Great location to downtown .
