We paid in excess of $400 for a two night stay. There was no refrigerator in the room. There were only three or four TV channels available. When we asked about both we were told that’s the way it is. We were charged a $30 per night resort fee which was to include a breakfast. The breakfast consisted of a bottle of water, an apple, a granola bar, and a yogurt. This was rated as a resort and frankly is little more than a roadside motel. I would suggest avoiding this property if at all possible. Without a doubt you’ll be disappointed.

      Needs cleaning!

Hotel needs updates! Room windows need cleaning, A/C doesn’t work, could not sleep the whole night. Service however was good and the location was amazing.

Enjoyed the ourdoor firepit very much. Helped ourselves to the wood and kept it going for hours. Great way to socialize with others and keep the 6 feet apart! The walking trails were so close by...very nice. Wish they were better marked though;we got lost so had longer walk than planned. Disappointing the pool and tennis courts were not open. Also gas to room fireplaces not on yet. Luckily was warm when we stayed.

The rooms were clean and nice. The restaurant was great, food excellent, owner a gem! Only downside is having to pay $30 p/night resort fees even if not taking advantage of any on site amenities. We spent all our days at the racetrack. They have wristbands, so my thought would be if using the amenities pay the $30 and take a wristband, if not ever using the amenities do not pay the fee and obtain no wristband. Simple. If this resort looked into this it would be top notch.

In COVID-19 times, crumbs and dusty kitchen toaster and coffee maker. no swimming pool or spa, but at least provide something else for the guests only 5 tv channels three we’re French one for kids and the last one sports. Coffee for first they only. No cleaning service. During your stay but the balcony has old cigarette buts and empty beer cans. The restaurant is ok, but only with reservations and not much variety plus the nearest town is 25 minutes away. Anyway they are supposed to charge you 30 dollars for amenities access , spa, pool, pedalboats, pool, parking and breakfast and the spa is closed , Pool empty. Etc. Not going’s back.

If the restaurant is open for dinner, it should also be open for breakfast. There was also no other place in Calabogie to get breakfast. Tried Calabogie lodge and Redneck bistro. 30$ fee charged for pool and beach yet the pool was closed and the beach doesn’t allow outside food or drinks. In addition the beach is full of sharp rocks.

      good except for price

The service as a resort was great unless you dislike the price and distance from the village

Service was limited due to covid which was to be expected but with a $30 resort fee our bagged breakfast could have been more substantial and could have varied each day. Given the fact that the restuarant was open for dinner i dont understand why it wasnt open for breakfast. They should consider another place to grab a snack and coffee throughout the day as there is nothing nearby. The equipment rental facility closes early which leaves guests with nothing to do. This feeling is compounded by the fact that there are only 3 english tv channels available. Satellite tv is expected these days.
