    Like many public and private buildings the Oryx Rotana is quite new and has attractive, interesting architectural features. The staff are what brings the structure to life! With very few exceptions we enjoyed the friendliness, energy, knowledge and deeply rooted interest in giving each guest a memorable, enjoyable experience. My letter to the general manager identified a few with whom we had substantive contact. The Oryx Rotana is in the top tier of mid-priced hotels catering to international travelers. My travel experience includes time on all seven continents and all seven seas. I highly recommend this property to any traveler in Qatar!

    WE ARRIVED PAST MIDNIGHT TO THE HOTEL CHECK IN WAS A BREEZE AND THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY ACCOMODATING: WE REQUESTED SUITES. HE SUGGESTED WE PREPAY BREAKFAST. TO OUR SURPRISE IT HAD EVERYTHING ASIAN, ARABIC, ALL AMERICAN ETC. BREAKFAST WAS SUPERB !!!

    Easy (complimentary) shuttle service from airport to the hotel --approximately a ten minute ride. Hotel staff was pleasant and courteous. Property provides several dining and coffee options. Room was comfortable, but there did seem to be dog hair all over the floor. Otherwise, a good transit/flight option for the area.

    Pleasant stay with courteous staff

    The hotel was lovely and staff very professional and courteous. We were only in the hotel overnight as we used it during our transit. For this purpose the hotel was also very well located. For those relying on the shuttle bus to the airport, watch out as it is sometimes booked out and with no reservations (relies on first-come first-serve basis), it could cause issues. We ended up giving up and caught a taxi instead.
