MGM was hacked and brought back to the stone age
Due to MGM being hacked their entire computer system was down forcing the front desk to check in people with pen and paper. Because of this we waited about three hours to get checked in however the staff were very understanding and was handling out free alcohol to those in line. Pretty much anything that used a computer was not working such as the elevators which were being manually operated.

Excellent staff but mattress way past it's prime.
The mattress was completely worn out, lumpy, and sagging like a hammock. This room was privately owned so I probably can't blame the staff and hotel for that. The staff and service are excellent. The bathroom was excellent. We just got unlucky enough to end up in a room with a mattress way past it's prime. The couch may have also been similarly worn out. I'm a normal size male 5'10" 185 lbs.

An escape within an escape
Sometimes Las Vegas is a little... much. Finding Vdara has been a wonderful discovery for us. No casino, no smoking--just clean and quiet and a restful oasis away from the usual bustle of the strip. And it's still centrally and perfectly located in the heart of the strip.

Everything was good except that the bed was worn and lumpy. I hadn't realized that I got bruises from the bed, e ven my daughter got brusing from the mattress. I was wondering why I didn't feel rested after sleeping a good amount of time.

The hotel was amazing. No casino inside, which is great coming back to relaxing atmosphere after a day out exploring. The staff were great and friendly! The views were nice, we were able to see the new sphere. We will definitely be staying here when we visit again.
