A night in Tongariro
The Park Hotel provided everything we needed for one night following the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. It was in a convenient location, with a restaurant in house. The room accommodated family of four with small bathroom and fridge with tea and coffee making facilities. Would recommend to those prior to or following completion of the Tongariro Crossing or surrounding walks!

Great place to stay in national park. Rooms were warm and cosy, and even had a little seating area. In-house restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced, especially considering that there's not too many options around! Staff were very friendly and kind, the woman working the bar on Sunday 6th around 7:30pm had such a warm and friendly demeanour and made our stay great. Minor feedback is that the lighting in the rooms was quite blue and felt a bit sterile. Some warmer light globes for the lamps would be a cheap upgrade but make the rooms feel way more cosy and homely.
