Great but a few tweaks would make it perfect
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff, especially Julia the concierge were so helpful. The child specific toiletries in the cot were a lovely touch. However a few things let it down such as despite having an extensive pillow menu we still found them all uncomfortable; the light switches in the room were frustrating as to put the main one on you had to go back to the door; and lack of information - we had to call for the WiFi password, there was no prices for the mini bar. Small things you’d expect for the price. Overall a great stay though.

This is truly a luxury hotel, in every respect. The entire physical plant is quiet new, elegant in detail, and maintained very clean. Our room was huge with every detail for one's comfort: large writing desk, walk-in closet and enormous bathroom with both tub and separate enclosed shower and commode spaces. We used fitness center, which was somewhat small but well equipped with new machines. Bar is a wonder of interior space design. Service was excellent. With a perfect central location in the old town, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Expedia and this hotel refused to consider a refund, although we were already in the airport on our way to Germany when we suddenly found out my stepdaughter was about to die. Lufthansa gave us a full refund after receiving death verification from the hospital. Yes, we had chosen the lower-priced no-refund-cancellation reservation option here.... but I don't make requests like this at all often and I felt it was handled in a sort of profit-oriented manner.
