while atacama is a bit expensive this lodge cost about $200 / night is way overpriced! staff are very friendly particularly front desk agent carla. but rooms are small with no ac/ heating or tv/ phone in room. small bathroom but shower works well with hot water. you would expect a bit more for this price. otherwise, bed very comfortable, loved the location, clean facilities and evening free wine sampling is a nice touch. just a bit overpriced.

This property was a unique oasis in the middle of the Atacama Desert. The owner, Christian, has succeeded in making this hotel special with complimentary tea time at 4 - 6 pm and wine tasting from 7 - 9 pm in the common area next to the reception office allowing guests from everywhere to mingle and get to know each other. Buffet breakfast was delicious every morning including but not limited to fresh squeezed orange juice and other fruit juices, homemade bread, fresh fruits and eggs cooked to order. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary guest offsite parking was in a secure parking lot and each guest using the lot is loaned a key to the gate. I am looking forward to return visit.
