I only had time to spend one night here but it was great. Staff are very friendly and hotel is in a amazing location right on the beach with a restaurant and pool right above the beach. If I ever return to the island which hopefully I will, I plan on staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Little Polynesian. Apart from a few issues listed below, the resort was great. The staff were friendly and the rooms were modern, renovated, and clean. The views from the beach bungalow were amazing. The included 'tropical breakfast' is a complete disappointment and mediocre at best. It included a paltry offering of a few small pieces of fruit and some toast. It definitely wasn't worth waking up for, nor the short walk to the restaurant. For a 5-star resort and at the $800 a night price point, this included breakfast is an embarassment. We skipped breakfast after the first morning because it was a joke and not worth waking up for. The resort provides cutlery and dishes in the room. When you order room service they do not bring you cutlery and expect you to wash and use the cutlery in the room. When I order and pay for room service I do not appreciate having to do dishes afterwards. Rarotonga is a really beautiful island and we will be returning in the future.

We loved our stay at Little Poly. The staff were kind, friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcome and helped us when we needed it. The resort itself is mere metres from the lagoon, which is ideal for snorkelling and kayaking. In addition, the resort is near many amenities and the popular Muri beach. The next time we visit Rarotonga, we will be staying here again.

Emplacement de cet hotel est magnifique (lagoon, snorkeling spots sur place, belle plage). Les villas sont excellents, entourés les jardins tropicales. Par contre, le niveau du service est correct, si nous sommes dans l’hotel 3 etoiles, mais pour 5 etoiles, c’est insatisfaisant. En commençant par la reception, un peu decevable, pas de collier de fleur, ni serviette humides, ni coctail de bienvenue, aucun ce petit signe de bienvenu qu’on trouve habituellement dans resorts de ce genre. Nous avons eu une mauvaise experience avec la reservation de la table pour souper, ce qui a gaché une bonne partie de notre sejour, même si nous avons reçu les excuses de manager le matin suivant. Il reste toujours sale après le menage (room service). Rien n’est prevu pour recyclage. Petit déjeuner inclus est juste correct (toasts, fruits, yougurt, cereales, café) si tu reste pour une deux nuits, mais pas plus. Nous avons y resté 5 nuits et le prix payé (700 nz$) est assez élevé pour le petit dejeuner pareil. Restaurant est juste ok, pas plus. Globalement, lorsqu’on y va dans une hotel 5 étoiles sur les îles tropicales, nous attendons un niveau du service plus haut surtout si on paye cher. J’espère que le management fera les efforts pour améliorer le niveau du service, car on parle de meilleur resort sur l’île. Je me pose la question, qu’est-ce que se passe dans autres dans ce cas?
