We stayed here during BIO and overall had a good experience. The location is fantastic and very walkable, with our favorite sushi place nearby and two great ice cream shops close enough to become a daily habit.
The hotel has a cozy, community-style feel with a shared kitchen, backyards, and comfortable indoor seating areas. It’s a nice option if you like a relaxed, home-like environment.
A few details could use more attention. The check-in counter often looks cluttered, which gives a slightly disorganized first impression. The rooms are okay but extremely small, and we had to rearrange furniture just to make our suitcase accessible. The sink is in the entryway rather than the bathroom, with an open clothes rail and a cabinet above it. There’s no towel hanger in that area, so we improvised with a clothes hanger.
During our four-day stay, dishes weren’t refreshed, and no dish soap was provided. The bathroom has no mirror, and several fixtures like towel bars and a side table were loose enough that we tightened one ourselves. There was a stain around a wall frame and an older carpet that could use a deeper clean. There’s also no iron in the room, which business travelers might miss.
None of this ruined the stay, but the rooms would benefit from more routine maintenance and small-item checkups. With a bit more attention to those details, the hotel could easily match its excellent location and welcoming common spaces.
